problems with this phone:
it cannot reply to operator's sms when the operator uses alphabet instead of a number.
now i cannot activate my roaming services.
no way to access phonebook stored on sim card.
no way to access sms stored on sim card.
the old 3310 can do more than the new one. i tried to install java games but it's almost not playable.
not ideal backup phone for me. ill get an e52 or e72 instead. ill look for them online.

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2017then don't buy it! duh!I'm not talking about buying it. The point is that they wanted to do something wonderful for nostalgic people, but they failed completely. This product would've been way more successful if they maintained the exact design but adapt the phone with current network band in order to make calls with it.

People slagging this handset off have not a clue, these new 3310 handsets are flying off the shelves literally and keep running out of stock everywhere they were not expecting it to be such a catch just released for a bit of fun now sales are surpassing more than expected.
I have a blue one its a simple phone for simple people that don't need anything else, whats more the battery on this is superb no charging daily and all that rubbish, call quality is clear and crisp, finally the phone is so user friendly anyone that has a problem must be completely thick literally charge it and go.

What a huge pile of garbage Nokia made this time! It's a full disappointment to see how stupid is the design of this phone, not even talking about the money waste on promoting this failure.If they wanted to get popular again among other manufacturers, the real "bomb" would've been creating the Nokia 3310 with the EXACT hardware of the time it was launched and maybe adding 3G connection to fit with current telecommunication technology. But this is one of the most recent mistakes Nokia made with this move.

Which btw I don't like, but no phones these days have the option to instead choose a proper folder (inbox, sent etc.) structure.

So the MMS issue seem to be a message central config issue rather than a phone issue. Still working on convincing the provider though :)
