But it still lost the feeling of the typical 3310.. I wish it could just reproduce the 2000s 3310

Is everyone missing the plot here or is it just me?
All networks have turned of 2g networks years ago, only countries this is any use are third world.
No wifi and 2 k a second internet, what a joke, dont care how cheap it is, without basics its no more use that trying to make a call on a banana.
Who ever came up with this brainchild should be fired.
No networks going to sell this, to many will return them saying they cant make calls.

"Nokia 3301", name is enough does not require to mention durability

It says the new 3310 has no GPS, but can it be tracked in other ways? If it's trackable, I would rather hunt down a used phone from 2001.

People question if the 3310 would be useful, and I say yes, if there's no tracking. It could make a good secondary phone for emergencies (stick it in a "go" bag) or one you take on vacation. I use a Nokia 112 in an armbag while bike riding and listen to music through the speaker (not the headphones) so I can hear traffic around me and have a light phone in case I need it. If this one is equally good, it might be worth it.

steady, 27 Feb 20171 step forward , 2 step backwards. .. no "durability" menti... moreYes the new one is made of plastic & it doesn't have the durability of the old,
But that is why is much cheaper-49euro.
                      It is upgraded and downgraded.

The good things are that it comes with stronger battery,
bigger screen, opera browser, low cost & affordable for everyone,
camera, radio, flashlight, more pocket friendly-lightweight etc.- (things that the old one didn't include).

It is a tribute phone to the old 3310.
Everyone can judge and decide if he likes it.
I like a lot the new one.

I welcome the pioneer cell phone of our era.Nokia cell phone like3310 was fan of the model along with Nokia1100.Both the models were having crystal clear call conversation, the limit was least contacts .Hope Nokia will keep this cellphone with sturdy buttons (of the dialer pad.)
The most important point should be noted, don't make it smart phone.

I actually quite like the design. it can do all things flawlessly that it's made for and atleast its performance won't decrease after "n" number of months or years.
unlike other brands who are trying to make their phones smarter, Nokia is making phones for smart people.
okay... that might be too much to say.

I hope Nokia consider the feature of the old X2-02 (Stereo FM radio, RDS, recording; FM transmitter, built-in antenna) in their new products. As the radio transmitter is very useful for driving, listening for device/msd music on car speakers, and built-in antenna to use device as an ordinary radio on the go. Radio recording is also a good feature for reference.
