Finally, a cheap and long lasting phone I can use at work while I keep my s8 immaculate at home n outside of work :)

      Is 2017...what should i do with this piece of crap...:( 16mb/ram...2mpx camera...really? My 4 y.o. son will insult me if i will give him smth like that...

          Nokia should be thinking of a suitable alternative for those power hungry smartphones and a long battery life and an improved graphics for the game SNAKE is not enough for a smartphone user to completely switch to the Nokia 3310. I was really looking forward to get rid of my power hungry smartphone with the new Nokia 3310 expecting this would have WIFI capabilities, messaging like whatsapp, social media life Facebook or even Emails.

          I can't help to compare this phone with my Nokia 220 which has almost the same specifications and a long battery life. Sorry but the comeback was not that all convincing unless I am one of those who feel sentimental holding the new version of the old one.
          I still have the first generation Finland made 3310 and is still working, as well as the 3210 which survived for more than 15 years now, so at least I won't feel nostalgic getting my hands to the new 3310, but please try adding more capabilities.

              What a perfect phone for school children.
              Just calls and texts. Brilliant!
              No excuse nor need to carry an internet enabled phone to school with all the negative issues.
              So many benefits.
              GPS would be a useful addition for tracing kids.
              Campaign from Ministry of Education needed.

                    Does Nokia realize that there are countries that have, or are planning to, shut down 2G services in favor of the faster 3G? What if I were to visit said country only to find out that my 3310 can't receive any network signal whatsoever?

                      Impressive design. Looks like a futurisric basic phone. A nice modern touch to the old Nokia 3310. Btw, I am seeing orange although the color listed is warm red. Does it look ike red to you guys?

                            This will pretty much only work in the west until 2G gets phased out...which is in at most 2 years from now. They should have ventured to make it voice compatible on as many bands as possible.

                                i was very much hyped for it's rebirth,
                                but i think they could have improved the design a bit.

                                and 2.5g is not a problem but WiFi was a must. why no wifi

                                Although most people won't download any big stuff in it, but still there should have wifi, just to check mails in emergency, when our main smartphone is out of power or something like that.
                                Adding wifi would have increased the no. of potential buyers who would be buying it.

                                      Just looking at photos of the original 3310 brings a nostalgic tear to the eyes. I regret having to trade-in mines for the Nokia 3595. Big mistake. If I get this 2017 remake, I would want it in dark blue like the og I got on my 21st birthday. I do like how the HMD execs said this is a "digital detox" phone. There are days when I want to be left alone with nobody using email or FB Messenger to contact me. I just need simple calls and texts. Do the other stuff on the laptop. Again, 3310 should be put inside car emergency first aid kits. Just so happy Nokia IS BACK!
