i bought a nokia 3650 3 months ago and what i like about this phone is the add on applications to choose from, memory card, camera, video recorder but when the 3660 came out in the market and saw the difference with regards to their resolution, i told myself that i will upgrade to 3660 because of its attractive keypad and its resolution. The 3650 has only 4096 colors and its kinda difficult with regards to texting, the 3660 has an easier attractive keypad and a 65536 resolution but 3650 is a nice phone i recommend it to you

The All-In-One phone. Does almost anything. Sending MMS is very very easy. Taking pictures was never so easy with crystal clear clarity if seen on computer. Bluetooth is really powerful and IR too. Only thing sucks is the battery standby and slower ringtones. Can't Nokia make Ringtone louder like Samsung.

This is probably the best phone I have ever owned. I have had: An old-ass Ericsson, Nokia 5120, Nokia 3390, Nokia 5165, Sanyo 5300, and now the Nokia 3650. I must admit I'm somewhat partial to Nokias, since they're so cute & have never really let me down. The 3390 I had died, but that was probably due to my rough handling. This phone simply kicks ass. My old Sanyo had a VGA camera w/the same resolution as this phone's, but it's pictures looked like grainy, washed-out shit while the Nokia's look crisp & clear(as clear as 640x480 can get anyways) even on my computer screen. This phone is really built around the camera, making it a true CAMERAphone, and not just a phone w/an integrated camera. The only gripe I have is- no flash. BUT, I never really used the flash on my old Sanyo that much so I can't really complain.
I love the changeable covers! That's one of the main reasons I always end up with a Nokia phone, the high customizability. I have an H.R. Giger faceplate on it now. I like the candy-bar style of this phone(and most Nokias for that matter), clamshells are cute & fun at first, but after a while opening & closing it all the time gets very annoying. This phone is an attention-getter in public with the gorgeous blue backlight & unique keypad(BTW- if you just CAN'T get used to the circular keypad then you're a damned gimp!), huge color screen, and faceplates. The screen is gorgeous, easily the nicest on any cellphone I've ever seen, excluding PDA/phone hybrids. It's only 4,096 colors, but I honestly do not see a discernable difference compared to 65k screens. How many colors do you really *need* to be able to display anyway?
Menu- excellent. This is the most highly-personalizable menu I have ever worked with. Especially the Contacts part. You can edit the field names to where you can input the person's address or WHATEVER info you want to save for them, so this phone has *true* PIM functionality. I have always had a gripe about supposed PIM phones where you can only store peoples' damn phone numbers. This phone solves that.
This phone can be customized with apps such as Pallette Extender, which adds red, orange, & pink to the green, blue & purple menu color options already on the phone. Also, Launcher + Skin Editor allows me to make custom skins for the menu with my own pictures. Camcorder Pro allows you to record video clips as large as your MMC card will hold(no more time limits!).
You can use absolutely ANY SOUND as a ring tone on this phone, from one you compose yourself, to a voice clip you record, to a wav file on your MMC card. By using MP3Trim, I have been able to put clips of my favorite songs on the MMC card & use them as ringers. I finally have 'In the hall of the Mountain King' for a ringer, I have wanted that for years now but no phone or ringer-download site has had it.
Onto call quality- I have experienced the very bare minimum of crackling/buzzing/echo/general cell phone bullshit w/this phone. Not a single dropped call so far too. It always connects & I don't think I've ever seen the signal strength dip at all, it's 100% all the time.
On to the bad- this phone does have some bugs. When I try to change my welcome note to text I get a system error. It doesn't bother me too much b/c I'd rather use a picture anyways, but it's a little disconcerting nonetheless. I can't remember ALL the bugs at the moment, but there aren't that many & none are really critical. Software clashes have occurred as well. This phone IS a computer after all, so it's impractical to expect it to work perfectly all the time. Just like your desktop comp will have bugs & crashes, so will cell phones.
Battery performance can be erratic, which is odd. Some days I barely lose 2 bars with heavy use, and other days I'm down to 1 bar after making 3 calls. It's very wierd. My solution- monitor battery strength & charge every night for at least 4 hours, and if you get low during the day plug it in for as long as you can- even 20 minutes can give you 2 or 3 extra bars.
This is getting long enough so I will wrap it up by saying this is the best damn phone I've ever had. Beats the shit outta all those hot-patootie flip phones.
