p.s I haven't upgraded to android 8.1 yet because I feel if I do, it'll be way slower...

The worst Nokia Phone I have ever purchased. Its LCD display got broken and the front glass came out of the body.

for me is very good phone (single sim version), use for talking and very little for browsing (i am not playing games). for 1 week battery drains down to 30% (use battery saving mode - don't like vibration)... for one year of use have no reboot or freezing (reboot only when installing updates)... snapdragon is good processor. don't know is software or fingerprint problem, but sometimes ask me for password, another bug was that sometimes some quick icons stoped working (like all is wallpaper...) but after some update problem was gone ... for file manager use stock app (files) and total commander. i don't have apps that "stopped working..." (i removed them, bad programmers so much...) only opencamera (bad focus, especially when zooming) was crashed and stock camera app make better shots... for expanding storage i use good memory card (sandisk ultra UHS-I), apps can crash, when cheap, bad and slow micro-sdhc cards are used...
too bad that new nokia 5.1 and 5.1 plus are with mediatek (this means bad software support, overheating, crashes)... before have prestigio with sd210 also good, but with bad support from m$...

I have been using this phone since December/2017. It's such a great phone and superior in its class. I'm running Oreo 8.1 on it and hope there will be a version 9.0 upgrade. the only complain I have is when I switch the net on (after been off for a long time), I have to wait a while (1 - 1.5 mins.) to let all the applications that use the net to get their new posts (whatsApp, Imo, snapChat, email, Google Duo .....Etc), during this time i can do nothing but wait. still Nokia 5 is an excellent experience for me and I will keep using it for another year at least.

Well, I really understand all users with the bad experience with this phone, I was having almost all the issues that people are talking about this device , I updated until today with New Android 8.1 an August update everything works amazing, especially the camera and the battery, no problems with touch any more

this is the absolute worst phone I ever had in my life and I really doubt whether there is one that is worse. there really is not a single good thing to say because absolutely nothing works. when you use particular apps 7/10 times they crash and you get a notification "..app stopped working". the thing is, sometimes you don't do anything and you get the notification "system stopped working/doesn't react anymore" sorry but ???wtf
also
the camera is so bad I can't even verbally explain how bad it is and the sounds recorded with the handy microphone is the worst thing you'll ever hear.
sorry but this is absolute trash.bye.

Good - nice clean design; not bloated with extra software etc - a paired down minimal phone.
Light; functions well.
Bad - 16gb internal gets full in a matter of days; but at least you can expand using an sd card. However this never seems as good as fixed internal memory.
Its slow. Boy or boy is this phone slow - the camera takes 5-6 seconds at least before being ready; some apps takes 10+ seconds to load up.
Perfect for a light use phone; calls / emails etc. But load too much on it or use a more processor intensive app and it is almost unusable. I would say 2.5 stars out of 5.

Sadly i bought this phone with a lot of high hope and boy was i dissapointed or what... 6 months in and its as dead as can be after a troubling duration of 2 months with internet use, kept going off , sorry am done with NOKIA. both 3 and 5, papa has the 6 lets see how long it lasts..
