pls users of nokia 500. i have been having problem with my camera.if i try snapping i would be told deleting from memory card and still i cant snap. pls let me know if someone is having a similar problem. thanks

very good phone in this price range as none of the Android phones have a screen resolution like this in this range.also it has a motion sensor so motion gaming works. also its screen resolution is same as many higher priced Belle phones so all apps work well. for Android phones in this range low resolution means that most apps look bad. also the apps on Nokia store are very cheap especially for India Rs.5 Rs.10 max Rs. 50. smart office is available for free and it allows viewing pdf and also editing office files like word docs, excel and powerpoint files as well. total paisa vasool(value for money) phone from Nokia!

Surely Nokia 500 is a great phone... I bougth the phone almost 2 mnths ago and its has great features.. processing speed is good jst a glitch in lack of gpu.. And recently nokia are planning to release new symbian versions within 2 mnths(name not disclosed) which will give nokia 500 a better gameplay experience.. So if u r planning to buy this phone, well then dnt jst plan.. go and buy it... :)

A lil' correction though: the max. 3G internet speed is 14 Mega bits a second. Not 14 Mega bytes a second. B-Byte; b-bit; 1 Byte=8 bits.
Thats why internet speeds are indicated as Mbps and not MBps.

Planning to buy Nokia 500 for my father.
He requires basic phone functions but i wanted to gift him a smartphone to suit his personality. My budget is 8K-8.5K max.
Read a lot of issues at a lot of forums. Complaints like frequent restarts and low memory.
My question is do these problems still persist after the Nokia Belle update?
Would be grateful for your reply.
I have to buy the phone today only.

The nokia 500 can play a variety of formats including AVI, AVC, DivX, etc. In a variaty of resolutions (if i may say) 720p etc.
What i like about this phone is that even thougu it doesint have an AMOLED screen, the screen auto adjusts its self depending on the amount of light in your enviroment......... #smiling for days

1,does it support 360p video format
2,can it play 720p mp4 avc format(any other software for play) like uc player.
3,hows the touch and screen quality(brightness)
