Akash, 16 Jan 2014I too have this phone but never had any problem like you sa... moreDue to small screen size the typing is cumbersome.Try nokia's swipe keyboard from Nokia store, it is free. It is an essential utility for this cell. It must be somewhere in Nokia recommended over nokia store.

Regarding Wats App Issue: NOKIA 500 hangs due to WatsApps sometimes. It happens generally when the WatsApp message contains characters which are not supported by this phone.
1. Switch Off and Switch On again.
2. Wait for WatsApp to get initialized
3.Generally I delete the mssg i.e. the recent one's after watsapp is started again.
Over All Experience with this phone was satisfying.
It is a Java Phone which I bought 2.5 years ago.
I had LCD issue around 6 months ago. I took my mobile to service center and they took 2500 INR and replaced the LCD. Apart from this there were no issues with this phone.
I updated to Belle from Anna. Belle is better and it resolved the issue related to hanging which I was facing with Anna.
I enjoyed this phone and still using it. Battery backup is still good after using it for approximately 3 years.Over all nice phone. 4.5 out of 5.
I moved to XOLO Q 1100 finally.
