I am in doubt whether to buy the Nokia 500, I read several negative reviews here. I've seen the Nokia 700 as well with some superior characteristics to those of 500, but its cost is higher and not if you really worth it. The issue here I think it's not the model of the cell, the problem is Nokia with its Symbian operating system and the attempt to revive an OS that has been deprecated in recent years. I'm a Nokia user, but when I'm considering changing the cell i think it is better to go to Android OS, Google does not have these symbian problems

i have been using it 4 de last 1 week..........there are no problems....batterry is excellent,wifi is powerfull,crystal clear sound,etc....but it restarts at some point of time....except this everyting is good..i recommend this phone..TRUST ME.

It hangs gets rebooted ... moreHave a Nokia 500, brilliant little phone, but if you have big fingers - it's a NO NO! when typing text messages you will definitely be annoyed after the umpteenth time deleting what you have mistyped... unless you don't care sending unreadable messages! Bit slow on processing, hangs sometimes - otherwise not too bad, but I won't recommend getting it, get something decent if you can ie Galaxy S2 or Iphone 4S.

Roshan,this is not true,Belle upgrade solved all software,restart problem and much more,you have new phone in the same case.

I m usin nokia 500 4 olmost 1 month now...after updatin to belle os, mi phone is awsome. Had still faced litl restart prblm but no more now, loudness of music player in main speaker redused abit. My phone tends to restart onli if d network signal is weak n I browse net in weak signal area, otrwis I hav'nt face tis wen m in gud signal area. its a solid phone.
The gud things r.....it has grt display, gud batery life, very gud sound in both earpiece n loudspkr, gud camera, gud video rec. 30fps (belle os), grt speed, smooth touch ui,blah blah etc.. Go 4 it..
