in battery life(most importent),resolution,camera,net,and its handy light body.

i hav nokia 500 from 3 weeks.this is very gud with som problome .those are
1.restart
2.while mobile rings d display is not open
3.some hanging
4.i upload d software from service cntr.after that also same prol\blm continue.and the default format of brand new mobile changed.

nokia five hndred is better than others bt it has many diffects no hd games ovi store is very bad phone get sitch off and the memory is very impressive i m a nokia user i never used other brands good i used nine smart phone in nokia best is n8 500 is not bad

google maps work well in belle os if both mobile data and wifi are 'on' position

first u must download nokia suite in to ur pc..register and log in to nokia count and connect phone to pc by usb cable, update belle by nokia suite 3.3.86 or 3.3.89..it takes 15-20 min.

i also change from google maps settings connection to "wap"
now it work both Wifi and 2g,thanks a lot!

narada, 16 Mar 2012i have nokia 500.i've been using this for 4months.phone is ... moretry using only the 2g network, except when you really want 3g data connection, switch off wifi when not in use. think this will improve battery life considerably.

i am using the phone for more than a month, updated to belle immediately on purchase, it was smooth as silk. have more than enough widgets for comfort, 4 screens. fast, both use and internet. had some freezing problems, the mobile would freez for abt 30 sec max, would resume function thereafter. very rarely [one weekly, or lesser] now. Google maps works fine, but like said by others jst leave the wifi 'on', even if you have no wifi connection available, it works smooth. absolutely satisfied with this mobile and at its price.
