I really hope you are right,but what I see "symbian phones,first and second generation,will not get carla update bcs of tech specs,even nokia 500 with 1ghz processor.It will start from 603,700,701 and so on,DONNA will update only duel core phones.

yes nokia 500 belle get light version of carla just like 500 belle(light) is now compare to other belle phones,anyway 500 belle is good enough for me

Got my Nokia 500 from Flipkart yesterday, upgraded to Belle software from Nokia Care, costs Rs-9525/,
Good phone for the price, 2GB memory, 1GHZ processor,3 interchangable back covers,light weight, battery is good after almost 5-6 hrs of fiddling and downloading. No front camera & flash, contacts will show either SIM or Phone (not both). No slection under themes, screen saver. Overall a very good phone worth the price.

My new nokia 500 was made in korea :) no hangs no lag etc.. Fast and smooth since i hacked it and install many apps like operamini browser, mobile cleaner , screensnap and many more.. Downloading is very fast and i love my nokia 500..i really enjoy this device..

my new 500 anna phone memory was 133 mb wich was normal then...after belle update phone memory drop 40 mb beacause of angry birds game wich is installed in the phone memory and its not removeable to mass memory,but u can delete it

harish, 23 Feb 2012updated to belle at nokia priority as soon as i bought it. ... moreHi,i just updated my nokia 500 and noted that the freezing problems as restarts are gone!
The only complaint is onthe change of the homescreens,i note some lag.Is this normal?

You're supposed to check your phone's memory status and availability by going to the file manager. You've got to have 253 mb of phone memory & 1,613 mb mass memory for a total of 1,866 mb or 2 gb. But since there are pre-installed applications, themes & wallpapers that come w/ the phone upon purchase, the RAM/phone memory is considerably reduced. Check the file manager and add up the used memory to the unused ones to come up w/ the total.

Symbian anna 11.033 update solved all problems for my 1 day old phone before christmas..and now belle feels and look more amazing!

I bought this phone last november.I faced many problems like auto swithoff, lack of memory to open camera and other such applications.But NOKIA continuously came up with s/w updates solving each pblm onebyone. And now i got the belle upgrade for my phone, and since then i havnt faced pblms lik autoswithoff and others as earlier.. Now i am a happy man. I hope the new carla upgrade is available for our NOKIA 500 also..

I can watch videobb videos after belle,500 belle get major improvements its video app.watching experience with 30fps HD videos ,that is cool!
