BATTERY?? Make sure you do not leav application runing in the background,every app. has exit in option,do it,not the exit or back in righte corner of the screen.Turn off Thems too.

Using it for more than 1 month .....
features are great...
Looks nice
battery backup is good
not too much apps (but you can frm local websites )
no 3d accelerator
nice connectivity ( mostly very good for social sites )
little bit laggy OS
not very much but 1 or 2 times get sudden crash switchoff
overall good mobile with good features and good battery but few apps

To switch WI FI-OFF.Go to menu,setting,connectivity,options,setting,make sure you have this,for me this works,WI FI availability-yes,scan for network-every 30 min.,power saving-enable.Do not forget to switch it off after you changed the setting. Good luck.I have 24 h.internet ON,from my provider,email disabled,WI FI off and battery alive for 4-5 days,off course one home screen.

jona, 10 Jan 2012you can download it from ovistore or web . :) i downloaded... morehi jona how to download the games?.....like directly u dowloaded in the mobile it self or in the system and then transferd to the mobile.....and i think this mobile brightness is too low!!! even at its MAX.... and how to select power safe mode?>....plzz help me..

i have this phone already :) very much happy .
I can download a games from ovi .
The Touchscreen was good , It's like an iphone .
Camera was absolutely good
you can change the text qwerty or alphanumeric keypad .

i have a issue with pc suite conectivity..whenever i connect it with pc suite,pc suite shows that it is in incompatibility mode..please help me out

Its a good phone... Nokia improve its new models of 500.... It is the best phone at cheap price... Camera quality is better than galaxy s. Net speed is also good in compair to samaung bcoz it has edge and gprs class 33 and samsung galaxy s has class 32...

I have my problem with my Nokia 500. Everytime I turn on the wireless LAN and if I will disconnect it.. it only refreshes and will connect again to a WIFI connection.. Even If I stop scanning off... it will still just refresh and connect again to a wifi connection. what's the problem with this?? i already checked the setting but then it is still the same. Please, anyone can help me with this Prob..

very low ram
