tip: if you are planning to buy this phone,before you use it update first to version 011.033 at nokia service.No problems will occur,like what i've experience :)
or do it with your own by clicking "SW update" (menu>applications>tools> SW Update)or *#0000# (call>*#0000#>option>check for updates)
*some said that after update, the camera will perform low image quality,it is only because the default image quality setting has been change to 3.6M .the only way is to check your camera settings and change the "image quality" to "Print 5M - Large" (5 MP).
i really really like and love this Phone!!!

hey can any one tell how is the sound quality of this hand set. as i listened Nokia N70 and N73 sound it was really good , but i also experienced some other handsets of Nokia has very poor quality. can anyone plz tell me how is the sound quality of this handset comparing to sony Erricson mobiles.

just bought it couple of days back,,,,sort of ok types,,,but browsing is fast as it has dedicatd processor of i ghz ...unfortuatley m facing some problem with sound,,,sometimes it work smoothly,n all of sudden sound quality goes down ,,,be it some song or ur ring tone etc ,,,,it starts getting distorted...plannin to visit nokia service center,,,,nothins gr8 about this fone,,,so dun make soem decision on brand only,,,,

help guys,how can i move my mp3's in memory card that would play in the music player?bcause when i move the mp3 from the mass memory to memory card then i'll go back to the music player to refresh library the mp3 was GONE. PLEASE HELP,it maybe also the problem if why sometimes n500 is restarting.

ravi, 11 Dec 2011My nokia 500 mobile get switch off in between net surfing.Have you updated to the latest software? It fixes most of the problems of the phone.
