hi am David from Coimbatore I've got this 500 on the 3 day of its release its been 2 weeks am using i am fully satisfied wit this mobile a but my only one request to Nokia is that this mobile hangs so often like twice or thrice a day am so vexed wit this alone it fades m shuts pls pls give a remedy n kindly say can i upgrade to belle os or not n pls say a remedy for ma problem as soon as possible n i request Nokia to change the battery of this from 1100mah to 1500 or 1200 like other batteries pls pls really i luv this mobile n all its features but expect this problem of hanging n really i miss ma e71 a lot

plz some one tell me wht is this [anna] and [belle] abt which u ppl r talking coz my set has also got this restarting problem.and i bought it in rs9500 so did i gave more money than required

hey all..m giving some better solutions of problms related to nokia 500..if restarting or hanging problems occurs then dial *#7370#,ur phone will formating..nd hanging problem solve..if ur camera do not open and memory full error then go to camera settings and change it to memory in use :-memory card in place of mass memory..even mere phone bhi bhut problem hote the bt now its workint too goo nw..thnx..

i havent found any problem with this phone, except 2 drawbacks. firstly, the speaker is at the back, due to which the sound gets reduced when it is lying on the bed or table. second, there is no button for clicking pics with the camera like there is in other phones. we have to click the pic by touching the screen only.

so far i haven't faced any restarting problem..only a problem with the cam..the other day camera wasnt starting because of full memory, when actually there was more than 100 mb free space in phone memory and 800 in memory card..once i restarted the phone, the problem was gone..today again the cam is troubling me..it just does not start..the mobile stops working..once i press the end call button, the problem is solved..anyone else facing the same problem?? any solution for this?

Hi Guys, I bought this mobile and faced same problem of restarting, the battery backup was very low and sometimes my display goes off. I went to Nokia Care and they updated the software to Anna 10.31. They suggested me to observe for 3 or four days without using memory card. I did as they suggested and my battery backup with usage came around 4 days and my mobile didn't restart. I thought problem was fixed and then I inserted my memory card, then again started the same problem. Now I'm using my mobile without memory card, good battery backup and it didn't get restart. I'm confused, how to use the memroy card for my mobile.

AnonD-27636, 25 Oct 2011yes it has restarting problem but it absolutely gon after u... moresymbianfan i want know how u updated this phone to anna 31r something like that , i have bought this phone in last week and getting frustataed due to self restarting. when i checked for updates it says no updates r available while my phone has anna version 10.29

Restarting problem is a very great feature by nokia in my experience so plz dnt buy it on the other my advice plz get a radio for listening music

hi,i am having this for the past 2 weeks.Given the pros and cons
Pros:
*Good output sound,even u r in noisy condition,u could hear the sound and pick the call.
*Anna OS is working fine as of now.
*Internet is working fine,youtube videos are playing fine.
*Really a loud to say ,battery back up is nice when compare to andriod phones.believe me
*Easy to remove the back cover.
*Cost of mobile is accepted
Cons:
*Anna OS is some wat bit slow ya.came to know that in the year send all ANNA OS going to upgrade as Belle OS.Hope the slow problem will gone.
*Camera 5MP,sad to say its similar to VGA Camera ya.Believe me.also there s no VGA Camera
*Sometimes black spots are coming in my phone and in the next instant the phone got restarts,GUYS ITS DUE TO THE MEMORY CARD,IT U DIDN'T USE MEMORY CARD,PHONE WILL NOT RESTARTED.try it once.
