i think this phone has a better performance than other nokia symbian^3 because it has 1Ghz..so..play with HD games is not a problem..

Of course 204 us dollar is too expensive for its price, compared samsung galaxy series that you can buy it for a range of 180 us dollars and up. Besides, nokia 500 is an entry level phone, so the right price of this phone should be 6,000php to 7,000php.

It is priced high. I've heard this unit is priced Php13K from a lot of people. That's more than $300! Some units were already sold exactly at 13K. I thought this should be an affordable unit.Why is it like that?

This phone is already available in the Philippines. But the price of this phone is too expensive for the price of 9,000 php or an equivalent of 204.6 us dollars. So I think this will not sell well, people will buy samsung galaxy series or se xperias because of its price.

El Dude, 29 Sep 2011I saw a video of what appeared to be a retail version of no... moreIt will be able to play hd games..if it gets BeLLe....coz belle supports games like angry birds,fruit ninja...etc...bt i don think it wud b able 2 get belle...coz it doesnt meets the hardware configs which needs upgrade 2 belle...it lacks GPU....check galaxy mini specs there is a gpu...which is able 2 play 3D games...bt wat i saw in 500 official demo...it luked sm games like asphalt 5...with accelerometer sensor....:)....@DUDe

I saw a video of what appeared to be a retail version of nokia 500. The ui moved very fast, with no lags (except in browser, of course).
Anyone know if this thing can play hd games?

Hy...guys....i jus now browsed a lot for nokia 500,600,700....so i get some wierd things....abt 500...i don think it will be able 2 get BeLLe...coz it has no GPU...lacks some important hardware Config....and for 600...it is really...awesome ...it has fm transmitter...NFC(Works like Two Phones 1 Screen)...its quite same like 700....i just found a main lacking that...700 can make video calls..through rear cam bt 600 cant...in belle u will get apps like skype...adobe reader(anna too) ...but abt games....Angry Birds and Fruits Ninja is preinstalled in 600 and 700...bt it wont run in 500...coz it runs on anna...if it gets beLLe smhw it MighT get Those games too...And Major 2 Things dat Belle is quite like Android...u can chcek it on youtube....and Abt NFC....it wiLL sureLy Surprise u....(i can jus give a advice 2 u guys...dat before u go For 500 plz chck 600 too...little diffrence of money....wait and see which is better 4 u hold ur Pocket 4 a few...n gathher sm money... iF u wna buy 600....plz don miss the awesomeness of nokia NFC and Belle...either going of 500...go 4 Galaxy Mini ...it would be better....bt if u still Love Anna...u can go 4 500...its good...bt will miss some Flawless features and a Bit Android toucH...:P.....:).... )
