If u are a game lover then don`t buy this phone. It has no gpu and ram is also very less. U will not be able to play hd games. If u want a symbian go for nokia 600 or else if u r having low bugdet go for tipo but 500 has advantage of playing avi files over tipo.

If you want a nokia cell, in the range price budget-performance the Lumia 620 is very good. Another android in the budget range to consider is the Samsung Galaxy mini 2.

I hav this phone and proximity sensor is not woking while calling it gives me irritating anyone plss hlep me out my problem
Is it due to the belle update or might be some damage to the proximity sensor plss respond

it is very good phone.
no problem in this phone , camera is also good and touch is also very good.
i have also experiece on HTC chacha and HTC wildfire S . both have lack of internal memory . and some application cant move to memory card.
1st i bought nokia 500 then i gift it to someone , and i bought wildfire, now i am trying to rid of it , and going to buy again nokia 500... !

Camera is the best in bright light bcoz there is no led flash. Sound is good in headphones for the music lovers like me... Though there are only preset bands for the equalizer hence you will be needed to opt among them (no chance to create yourself). Good responsive touchscreen... And many things good. For my views, Nokia 500 looks better than the olds nikia 5250, 5228 (5233), C5_00, C5_03, C5_05 and even 5800. The only problem with this device is that it lacks Preinstalled document viewer...

krish, 10 Feb 2013 I bought NOKIA 500 blindly going by the brand name ... morehey krish what do you know abt android?how many android have you used before.then let me know it is the best pentaband mobile within rs 10000.many people say android has big software market,then i am telling you i will give you the same software in symbian.camera is good,video recording is good,sound is awesome in headphone plus a smart look.i think it is the problem of people who dont want to use electronic device. I am not a nokia people.it is my personal openion after using galxy y duos,sony tipo and nokia 500,the middle range phones.
