I've been using the phone for almost a year now, and yes, it's kind of a bummer that it isn't android so we can't download all the apps we want. It also hangs; the screen fades to black and won't restart until you take the battery out, then place it back, or the alternative is to wait for a few minutes. By the way, I also updated its OS to Symbian Belle, and typing messages got VERY difficult. Very very stressful, I get so many typos and I can't view and type on the conversation box anymore, which sucked. My phone doesn't have much games, too.
The great thing about this phone is, it's very sturdy, it's sleek, and the graphics are great. It connects to the internet very nicely, it's fast and reliable. It has a very large capacity for storing messages, since it already has a large internal memory, even more when you place in an SD card. If you're a klutz, this would be great for you, mine has fallen I guess for more than a hundred times and it's performance is still good. It also comes in three colors of battery cases. Nokia 500's a keeper. :) :) Hope this helped. Nokia's very trustworthy. :) Thumbs up.

utouh, 23 Dec 2012not good mobile, symbian is already dead, no more updates c... moreNokia 500 belle is awsome phone but lacks of gpu bcoz its an entry level belle smartphone arou 10k but supports all video formats under 640*360 resolution vidio out put is good good news for 500 users is that symbian carla is coming for smartphones with 1GHz processor so carla will come in Q2 or Q3of 2013 dont think foolish dat some thaught symbian is dead and another update called donna also come for smartphones with dual core android cant beat symbian in some specs symbian was leader 6 years back as n series came with symbian thanks n sorry for bad english as i am an indian

It is not comming. It does not exist. Chainfire is used to maximise settings of GPU already in the phone

vshk, 26 Dec 2012plz any one help me whether navigation is available on noki... moreyes nokia 500 got nokia maps 3.06 with lifetime free voice guided navigation,there is in every phone preloaded maps of your country and surrounding countries..and when needed more maps u can download them free by phone 3g or wifi connection and via nokia suite

hey guys,i do not support u guys to go for tis phone cos it's suck some time,it's wil automatic reboot n hanged over there non-stop.unless u plug out the battery n restart again.it's reali annoying me.it's nt severals times.quite a number in somedays.for other features this phone is reali goood enough compare with others.u'll cry if u chose this phone for game lover.for internet browser,camera,music it's awesome guys...
