well the only thing good about it was that I managed to upgrade to symbian belle, witch turned up to be a bit bugged. The battery is not bad though, and I like the design. That`s about it :)

Guys i am in a confusion,,i like nokia 500 very much,,,,but i have confirmed from a nokia engineer,nokia 500 has a plastic screen,,,,the lcd is glass but the digitizer or the outer layer with which the user interacts is a kind of hard plastic.so it may get scratched.........
......how is the touch sensitivity of nokia 500's screen being a plastic digitizer?.....help me frnds,,,,,,i want to gift this to my brother next week.

Nokia 500 is a hopeless phone, drives me absolutely insane. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!

hi friends,,,,i have nokia 701,now iam planning to buy nokia 500 for my brother....i've heard that the display of this device is made of plastic,,,,unlike other high end mobiles having a gorilla glass or simple glass.so is it easily prone to scraches when it comes to rough use. The other thing that bothers me is battery backup and the freeze issue,,,how's it.and lastly,what about the camera quality,,,is this a 5mpxl real shooter.help me decide friends....thankyou in advance.....
