well as been said memory is poor, but wa a simple light small phone and cheap, if this mobile had an option of a 1 gb memory i would defo buy one.

what a fone is this? its very cheap, nor it dosnt have a memory card slot!!!! well!! what a fone!! it has only 12 mb!!!

It's a very nice BASIC phone. It isn't exactly a smart phone, so what do you guys expect? You paid dirt cheap for this, you can't expect it to be too hi-tech. It's just a simple phone. Nice phonebook, nice screen resolution. it can text and can call. It has radio. If you just need a phone that lets you call and text, this is great. If you wanna play mp3s, get an ipod.

very very dissapointed with this crap phone !!!
just upgraded on the 29-05-09 wow the memory absolutely useless i must say !!! thanks nokia much appreciated

this phone is quit nice. i know this might seem a bit odd to you but from my point just by reading this text. u seem to be a very material person obscene i doubt you are liked by many people. i have a phone just like this and i like it couse it does the same job in fact a beta job then an expensive phone thank you. i think you should go back to school if you dont know what to wright here................................

like everybody else, i realize the lack of an expandable memory slot in a 12 MB default phone just sucks beyond comprehension. Now I have to delete the ONE AND ONLY SONG I ADDED TO THE PHONE just to be able to receive incoming messages.
Why do people do things like this???

If this phone is so bad, why does Cell C phone and promote it as a "top on the range" phone on the special promotion? If this phone's quality is bad, why not take it off the market accept of giving it away on special promotions and take us for granted? I do not like to badmouth any product without reason, but sure think someone needs to answer this.

I'm writing this review using my nokia 5000. It hardly plays any games, if it fails to open something like internet pages it simply goes blank and switches itself off, no memory card is pathetic but i love it when i download media files it's superfast, advanced calculator and by the way this phone's java is MIDP2.1 not MIDP2.0

If the Nokia 5000 is so bad WHY does nokia put it out in stores, arent they afraid of getting a bad reputation...

i like the look and the features but there is no card slot. too bad but I still got one because it was given to me from my network. its a lot better than 5110 though

Nope. Crap phone. Only 12Mb memory and NO card slot. Just how many MP3 ringtones do you think will fit into 12Mb ?

Phonebook 1000 entries, Photocall
Well its photo Call feature is very old just display a small thumbnail not the full screen photo.
Its very bad if anyone have the option to display full screen photo please let me know
