It is a very good phone but it has no memory card slot which bugs me i like listen to music on a phone. People that like listen to music on a phone should not buy a phone like this.

d phone is ok...dere is no option for memory card n lack of memory space in d phone...overall not worth...

well its a good phone slim wid bluetooth...well the memory is not sufficent bit i am a messiging freak and hav round about 1800 mesages in inbox its still not sayn memory low..so sufficent enough for me...cam result is also very good..i was using 6233 earlier its keypad was excellent for messaging dit em startin to get along with its keypad

The unit's low memory makes it unideal for games and music. This just makes the unit as a basic mobile PHONE.

I have this phone. All features are fine except the so stupid 12MB memory limit with no memory slot for expansion. The battery on my phone is fine can last upto 2 days without recharge, just enable the sleep feature.
Can play many 240x320 java games like needforspeed carbon and others.
DOWNSIDE atleast nokia makes it 32MB atleast so it would make the user happy enough, most Digicam now comes atleast 32MB of free memory storage.

I think nokia 5000 is cheap between more nokia type . But it's have problem , don't have external memory it can be danger if buyer is a who people like downloadable people .

I have a problem with the nokia 5000 everytime i download games it say java/long/out of memory and i find it disapointing as it does not allocate sufficient memory to java applications,please help me

A nice little phone, camera not bad , the usual nokia nav system which is ok. the only down side is the battery life which is pretty crap... i have to charge it up every 3/4 days but on the whole it does what it says on the box !! the radio is quite nifty..
