Hi i want to buy this phone but i want to know i mxit alot and i dont want music on it but i would like to heve pohots on it...about 20 photos + mxit does it have enough memory for that...please if any1 knows plz reply as soon as possible.

just press "#" twice and simultaneously FAST. if you press it "fast" twice, it will switch between T9 on/off. if you press it "slowly" twice, it will switch between capitals/not.

i just bought it. good budget phone.
feature is really nice and adequate for its price.
screen is good, even though not fantastic, QVGA helps much to the display.
but......... i found it slow for typing SMS. it's really not Nokia-ish. Nokia phones are famously fast for SMS typing. but not 5000. it's slow. fortunately, it still can cope my typing speed, but only with lagging cursor/letter movement.

Does anyone know how to get predictive texting. The normal bottom right button doesn't work??

i like it because it's just a phone. not a multimedia tool. mobile phones are invented for talking, not for taking photos or viceos.

design is fabulous .but coming to memory it is very less to upload anything any way buy this mobile for only appearance and don't forget to carry a blutooth to connect Ur PC/laptop

I just bought the phone.
my olde one was dead. lol
and now I find out there is so little memory.
i'm so anoyed.
but, eh. good for the price.
and I do have an ipod for music. lol
umm ... put stuff on a friends phone and bluetooth. =]

it's fun using nokia 5000,but the only prob with it,is that the memory status is too less, just can't upload more than 2 songs on it,can't keep more than 1o photo,neither store videos.. it's basically design for youngsters but i personaly don't like it,koz we love havin lots of songs,video clips on our mobile,n nokia 5000 doesn't suit our personality.. thnx
