Israel Vele, 08 Jun 2009I have problem with my cellphone Nokia 5000. when im trying... morethe security code comes factory set as 12345 usually for nokia. so try to type that in text box and click ok. you can change your security code as you like in five digits xxxxx but do remember it !! cheers

I have had this for phone for about 10 months i think its a good basic phone but it lacks memory and applications. It is strong and i have dropped it on concrete an in water a lot of times. The speakers on this phone aren't bad with the headphones, and the slick slim style is appealing. I have the purple one and i love it, i am now getting the samsung b3310 for christmas.

i think it should have had wifi and also an sd slot but apart from that its ok 1

fundi , 14 Dec 2009i think it is a great phone besides it not having the best ... moreI think Nokia should follow up this phone with another one (5001) that has more internal memory if adding a memory card slot will make its price to increase a lot.
Internal memory upto 2 to 4 GB will be enough.

For all of you who have said bad things about this phone, you gotta realize that this phone is in an entirely different price scheme. Its price is expected at 90 euros about $141. How many features do you expect it to have? You need to get your head straight and know more before you start dissing this phone.

It looks cute w/ all those funky colors.
About the features, WHAT DO YOU GUYS EXPECT?! It's a low-end phone, for Pete's sake! You want a better phone, then go for N95 or something

this is my current phone that i just bought since i lost my previous phone two days ago. It sure is a cute phone since i have the perfect purple color and it is slim! but the sad part is that this phone doesnt have a card slot and only has a limited memory. Since im so fond of listening to music, i cant really enjoy much in listening to music with this phone and to think there's no usb cable that comes with the box. But at least it has bluetooth though. I'll be upgrading to the samsung jet maybe by january if GOD forbid :)

My mom was planning to buy me Nokia 5000 for Christmas but i was shocked to know that this phone doesn't have a memory card slot so i'm now eager to tell my mom to buy me other model

this phone is so handy it has 1.3 mp fm stereo/mp3 player cool games advanced calulator and it's slim!!!

If you are after the basic features, this phone is suitable. However, it is obviously not an high tech phone. The mxit does work very well actually. The main problem is that the phone is slow and freezes, albeit for short moments. To make your nokia 5000 run as efficiently as possible, make sure you activate the grid display where possible. It could have more space. 7/10 for a basic phone
