best phone from nokia ever!!! of course too big for today's average user, back in the day was the easiest phone to use

This was my first phone back in 1998, i have owned 11 phones since, but this was my favorite. I dropped it of a building 180meters and it still worked!!! They dont make them like this anymore. I bought it for $150 Australian dollers but for the same price i can now get colour screen, camera, bluetooth, mp3s, the works.... time has changed.

Excellent phone. Getting dated now but if all you want is the ability to send/receive phonecalls and text messages, and want good battery life and a phone that doesn't break when you sneeze at it, this is the one for you.

This was my first mobile. I was at once impressed by how user friendly NOKIA had made this set. I had a great time with it for about 2 and a half years and it became my constant companion. Then I graduated to 3315 and now am using 8250 for the last 2 years (a little over) and I swear by anything NOKIA has made.

gr8 phone it was my first
it was my moms we got it 2000
2 yeres after i got it when i was 10 2002
then i got a 3210
better but not much in 2002.mid
then i got a 6210 aa now that was a gr8 phone in about 2003 then got stolen out the house 2004. i think
then had the a 3310 for 9 munthes
then i got the nokia 3200 now that was a gr8 phone i droped it over 3 meter the one time
and still worked
then i got mid 2005 my first moto C650
still have it good phon beter then the 3200
but i still have it gr8 phone grt it if u can

PPL THIS PHONE STILL WORKS!!!! ITS AMAZING!!!! this is the first mobile phone we ever bought in family, i can still remember how many hours i've spent playing "snake"! 14 years have past and it still works like new!!! my dad loves it. Seriously i've had A LOT of cell-phones and i must admit that this is the most reliable EVER! 10/10

this is my third phone. got this one after i lost my SIEMENS A35 and had given out the previous phone. good phone. twas my first nokia. very good coz i can customize the cover. good features. definitely a sturdy phone.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these bad phones from. I heard you can pick them up for the same price as a 8800 at phones4u? I have had my last one since 98 and use it mainly as a home phone as I never go out, can anyone recommend a more updated version of this phone?

thats very funny simon....i wonder if i can access the 3G network on it, you never know...i love my 5110, but its broked (lol, broke ed) and i can only use it when its plugged into the wall outlet...it still works, believe it or not...its very amusing, just like my other phone, the only thing is that it happens to be an LG U8180...not a nokia.......i miss my taking mine to work everyday....do you remember when it first came out...(was it really '98 thought it was earlier, meh) and every1 was raving about it, like da 3G phones now and every1 wanted 'em and i used 2 take mine 2 work and see ppl with phones that had no clocks, like da 2110 or sumthing i still got dat 1 aswell... and you'd show-off that you had a cool phone......i dare you to do that now, go up to a dude on a video call, (gotta be a hot dude 2...mmmmmmm, oops, anyway) and tell him that your 5110 is much better than his tinny old "3" phone....hehehhe...see what he does to you...(nothing 2 rough...lol)
