So see, many people are using it. Just remember. DON'T buy duplicate products. Go for well known companies like kingston, transcend...etc. A memory card can never damage a phone, never.

i tested 8G kingston card in this phone it works great
about 5.4G was filled

i had samsung j130 previously. music quality is damn good.. but i miss the phonebook number search option that was available in the samsung phone.
otherwise its a good java phone..camera quality is a bit poor...

As for track changing speed... I guess you must be using firmware 7.xx. It used to have one of the best track changing speed with firmware 6.xx... But nokia messed it up in 7.xx.

I remember on the LG gm200 forum they were talking about suggesting to LG(through LG customer care centers or mails) about the changes they wanted in the next firmware. As for Nokia.. they have no such thing... they simply take their large customer base for granted.

This phone have a top-notch music output quality yet, has the poorest, underdefined built-in music player. Imagine, no song search, not even a letter search, even in the newest firmware available. Scrolling is a PAIN, and the player has a noticeable lag in between selection of songs. Tsk! Even my old nokia 6230i's music player is better than this.

I am enjoying a lot with this phone. sometimes (rarely) it gets hang while opening contacts or messages. Just want to know how to update firmware for my phone. i never done it. please help.

utk, 23 Jul 2010Naa... They just made some of the worst firmwares imaginabl... moreI agree to that too. I guess nokia will never realise what a mess they have done. Its because they haven't tested this phone with more than 200 songs. I found that if one keeps his number of songs less than this then the speed of the media player is almost as good as the 6.xx version firmware's. According to me, every thing in this phone except the media player is better than the previous firmwares. If only the media player is fast, this firmware would have been the most perfect of them all.

Nitesh, 22 Jul 2010I think it is the worst cell Nokia Had MadeNaa... They just made some of the worst firmwares imaginable. If u take a 5130 with firmware 6.xx then its the best phn in this price range... OTOH...one with 7.xx could be the worst.

ryan, 22 Jul 2010can I use 2GB,4GB,8GB,16GB or higher memory for this phone???Oh yes ryan. This phone can easily handle cards of more than 2gb. I have 4gb with only 50mb free space left. I tried my friends 5800's 8gb which was about 5gb full, which this phone handled very easily. Some are even using 16gb cards. This site itself proved that this phone supports 16gb cards. So if someone denies this would either be a fool or too ignorant to notice the minor details in this phone's specification given in this site. And if someone tells me that nokia itself is saying 2gb is max for this device then he or she should also explain to me why nokia itself has put this phone's name it its 16gb class 2 microSDHC card's compatibility list? Huh... Anyone....
