Nokia 5130 is the bestest best mobile in its range, more commonly say it is the "sasta & tikao". About 1 and a half year is completed when i was buy this set & it is still working as good as it was new. Shortly say, i m FULLY SATISFIED....!

Its a best phone in its range..good music speakers,the default opera browser is superb for fast net surfing !! support a lots of app & all the games
the keypad is also good for long time chatting,only the problem is battery..not satisfactory..but thats torerable.!!

1.opera mini 4.2 (certificate included) or opera 5 installed in that phone becomes more powerfull.
2.eiher a bolt browser also bestone for it..
3.as far as internet is concerned it gives upto 8kbps which have a inbult USB modem that supports a bandwidth of 921kbps.
4.in order to get applications and games to this 5130 phone, u can got to
a) getjar.com
b) store.ovi.com (registration is required)
c) mobiango.com

And about the keypad and the D pad paint, i agree cause mine has crossed 1 year and yet there is no sign of the colour fading, leave aside peeling off. Another thing, can you tell me how to use the nokia software updater? Can i download it in an internet cafe and then bring it to home in a pen drive and then install the software. Cause i don't have net in my home. I use my mobile for writing all these comments.

hi. I have been trying to upgrade my phone as my version is 7.91. but the ovi suite is showing that there is no update for it. is there any other site or program that can upgrade my phone. pls pls suggest. I am in Karachi, Pakistan. Thanks in advance.

Of course it does not support sis files because it does not have a symbian OS you dimwit, my opinion is a pretty good phone especially price/quality ratio.

Bought this in India Mumbai for Rs.4800 after getting fedup with my Samsung Star 5233. Good phone. Good User Interface, good sync with Outlook, amazing music quality.
Recommended buy.

By the w... moreThe speed of navigation and other operations improved, though the lag in Cam and Music player is still there, it is barely noticeable now. Stable software upgrade, no problems encountered so far. Also i noticed battery consumption is lessened.

By the way, my phone is made from India which i think has better build quality over china made nokias. No more peeling of directional keys paint. Kinda hard paint is used.

BTW there is no such thing as 7.96.
