I've bought Nokia 5310 Indian made. It's terrible, very poor quality specially the LCD. I could see the screen at a specific angle only (not even at direct look). I was a nokia fan but now I'm thinking on other manufactures. I think nowadays quality of the products is not important for nokia & I beleive that nokia will lose the market very soon.

john, 13 Mar 2010hello to all reader, I bought this 5130 last Dec 2009 and f... morefriend just update ur phone's firmware, hope it works. and if u have already updated ur firmware then do 1 thing write down a mail to nokia's zonal officer. (u can get contact details of nokia's staff on google). all the best friend.

Ghrover, 15 Mar 2010Hey CHRISTO u said u only charged it once and that means fo... moreHi Ghrover. Yes, I had to charge it once in the 2 days I've used it. I only know of one phone I saw with a 3.5mm and it was a motorola em325, wich is a really bad phone. Stay well clear of that one. Good luck.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2010can u find better then this phone(maybe) 2730 classic is better with same price range,it has 3g...but the best in my opinion on the same price range,(maybe) sony ericson j105 naite,coz u got 3g,hsdpa,micro sd (it's good cos sony always use the "expensive" memory stick duo),2.2 lcd,but the problem is the headset connector is the comb connector type,why not 3.5 mm jack?
Why i said (maybe)?because i haven't tested all of them yet,i don't have big money,and my 5130 is my love of my life now...

Undertaker, 16 Mar 2010Hey guys my opera browser is not opening.helpU must have problem with u're operator gprs/web setting...go to u're operator office/shop,ask them to setting it for u.since 5130 don't support proxy,also try to find the prov nokia s40 file that fit with u're operator setting via google

To all,i have nice suggest for you:
-don't buy nokia phone after their first launch,but wait until 5-6 month after launching
-my brother work on nokia service centre,he said that nokia have lack on testing their handphone,but after nokia accept about 10.000 claim on their phone,soon they will change the hardware,firmware,etc (no wonder why nokia have lots of model,and lots of complain too...)
-nokia price drop very fast,because attack of blackberry (in asia)
-well,wait for 5-6 months is a wise solution,beside that,u can get cheaper price n more stable phone,maybe u don't get the exclusivity because u have phone that new release,well,it's up to you...
