vasanth, 16 Mar 2010i think its the worst phone every time it goes hanged up...... moreHi there,i believe u're problem is something called "production failure",i have this phone since june,no trouble at all,game,gprs,chat,email,call,sms,music,video,etc...the very disturbing thing is that they set lcd too bright,my eyes become hurt,not like my old nokia 5500,i can set the lcd brightness,overall 5130 is good phone with it price range.don't u ever compare it with n97!!not match!!

One of the reasonably good phone in this price bracket.
Sound quality is also good.Most important feature is its good quality camera.

i think its the worst phone every time it goes hanged up......got updated its software 7 times and i bought it only in last may...........ashamed of this product..........and how can i trust the furthur phones to be produced by nokia.....

Not good for people who keep long nails.

JERI, 15 Mar 2010thinking updatating the version on the phone.does the phone... moreYou know what, they are not giving an update for nothing. They are giving it to make the phone more stable, more energy efficient and to correct the bugs in previous version. In Nokia 5130, I can say that version 7.91 is not that fast compared to my previous version in 6.95. I dont understand why people keep on saying bad things about 7.91 but aside from its a little slower, at least it is far more stable than 6.95. I experienced restart problem in 6.95 when I updated the library. In 7.91, that poblem didn't exist. Right now, Im waiting for the Nokia Care Centers here in the Philippines to release 7.95. Most of them are offering up to 7.91 only.

ghrover, 15 Mar 2010Hey christo hows its battery life, did it stand up for the ... moreHi! The bat life is great. I've been using the phone a lot for texting and listening to music while texting. Had to charge it only once so far. Hope it keeps up. And for recommending another phone I would go for the samsung star. It also holds up good to heavy use. Personally I prefer the nokia. Just the keypad is bad :-( . Squeaks alot. Good luck!
