Then i updated it to 6.94 and then again to 7.91. All you need is net connection in your mobile. Go to settings/phone settings/phone updates. Now download the phone update. Installation takes place automatically. During installation, do not press any keys. The phone might seem to hang during installation, but its just a procedure of the installation so don't get scared. I did that mistake once and the phone didn't start for about 10 hours.

As long as the micro SD is not HC (High Capacity), then it will work fine...

I've discovered a strange thing with music player of my Nokia5130 & Headset (HS-45. AD-54).
The keys of my Headset (HS-45. AD-54) will work from any menu/screen and even if the phone's keypad is locked with security code only if "Default" music player theme is selected, BUT
if I change the theme of music player other then "default"; I've to start the Music Player from the phone itself then only the keys of HS-45. AD-54 works.
My Phone's details: Nokia 5130c-2, V 07.91, 29-10-09, RM-495, Variant: 255.01

Hi .... this abhishek from kolkata.... i use this mobile for last 3 days .... so far i dont have faced a single problem .... its a awesome mobile and very good looking .... music is mindblowing !! guys hurry up and get a chilled expi with this mobile !!

v, 09 Feb 2010at first i don't believe 5130 can use 16gb. i inserted 4gb ... moreis it true that this XM phone can support 4GB memory? i was disappointed when i found out that it's memory is only expandable up to 2GB..

Babai, 09 Feb 20105130 support only 2gb. The phone hanged when 8gb put. no mines has 4gb

at first i don't believe 5130 can use 16gb. i inserted 4gb on my friend's 5130 & to my surprise, 5130 can use 4gb memory card. well, upto now i don't know if 8gb & 16gb will work on 5130.
