some times when we open camera, it shows that "CAMERA ON STANDBY"
i just replaced with the phone the very next day, but the problem persists sometimes

Renganathan, 30 Oct 2009I hav jst bought this (Nokia 5130 XM) mobile. As per some s... morePlease dont buy Philips SHH9700 inear earphone for Xpress music. It costs more amd you will be disappointed with the results. Try and get the Sony MDR-ED12LP earphones. The bass is unbeatable and the sound output is very high. Another thing is it costs only 890rs as opposed to the philips which costs 1500rs. I have both and Philips comes no where near Sony earphones in terms of Bass reproduction.

I hav jst bought this (Nokia 5130 XM) mobile. As per some sites it can support max memry of 2GB, but per some other sites it is 16gb. Can any one tel me what is its max memory heap size.
Also i am not satisfied wid da earphone sound quality. Can anyone sugst me any other hdphn that i can use to have a btr sound quality(espsly bass sound).

Its very bad in bad network. There is no coverage then its restart while reading or writing messages. Other than this Nokia5130 is the best product of Nokia

Hey guys, could you please tell me whether dedicated music keys,a different audio chip and a bigger speaker the only advantages of 5130 over 2700 or are there other differences? Can one load java applications more than 1 mb into 5130?

Hi to all I own a 5130 and recently I had my firmware reinstalled.this was bcoz i had inserted a virus infested micro card into my 5130 accidently.I thought that my phone was gone and thought that i had to go to a nokia proirity dealer to get the software reinstalled.But my friend told me that we can reinstall the software from the phone itself.Its very simple go to settings>restore factory settings>Restore all.it will ask to enter 5 digit code just type 12345 and go u r done.BUT REMEMBER bfore this you shud make sure that all your data is safe for this you have create a backup of all the contents and should save it in your PC.Bcoz after restoration all your data will be lost.You need to get the backup file and restore all and you are done.I had this done and all data is safe and the phone is doing fine.For those who know already know just ignore this and for others it will be of great use whenever you got your 5130 bugged.

I speak here for anyone who have low budget (about $100) n wanna have superb phone,LG is great phone but not maximum spec,soner great also but their slow system n memory stick micro (expensive) is problem,samsung limit their application n game (max 3mb),motorola hard to handle (just usually phone).no offence!!

Do u friends ever heard about nokia 5500 sport (junk product),i used 5500 for 2 years.B2100 is a product wanna-be or look-a-like for 5500.5500 win from B2100 (although launch more than 3 years ago,n they have same price range).5500 have symbian 8.1 system,display resolution 208x208,camera 2mp,motion sensor,shaking sensor,tapping sensor (i can say,5500 is the first phone for having this kind of three sensor),push to talk,accelorometer,etc.
No match for B2100,it nothing if u fight face to face with 5500.But,still 5500 is junk product,cause their keypad always be the real problem n the display actual size.if my keypad doesn't broke maybe now i still use 5500.i think B2100 will have same end like 5500,sport type never lasting long.i use 5130 now,i feel empty without symbian...hik..hik..
