I use 4GB card 1.5GB of Songs and 2.5GB of mp4,wmv movies each 300-400 mb can play without any problems,hitch,a great phone I have ever used..

friends in this range samsung and lg provide more facilities than the nokia
SAMSUNG B2100 now a days at the top of market

LG has better battery backup simply becoz of its mediocre low resolution screen...remember that 5130 has 3 times more pixels than gm200.
And you always talks abt your LG GM200 + MDR-ED12LP beating 5130 + SHH9700. You never mentions the fact 5130 + SHH9700 beats gm200 + SHH9700 and 5130 + MDR-ED12LP beats gm200 + MDR-ED12LP.
The software probs...depends on how your friends use it...Its like windows, highly customizable and expandable using 3rd party software but it can get corrupted becoz of its flexibility. The less flexible you OS is more the stability. Software problems are there for SE phones.

Why does my words always go unheard? I don't make up things and brainwash other people. I jus tell all the new people here what you fail or ignore to tell them. And it has nothing to do with LG or me. I have seven friends and even my professor owns a 5130. I appreciate for this price it is actually a very good phone. But almost half of them now face software related problems and one of them had to reinstall the firmware as his phone was beatup beyond data recovery. Why does it happen so? Did it ever occur to you? It is a major flaw which you all tend to hide away. If i was in you position, I would rather give the phone back than spend 250rs on a firmware installation.

Signal strength? that is four years back mate... Now almost all phones have good reception and multiple band support. So that statement of yours is pointless. functionality wise, I would admit that Nokia might have a slight edge over LG but it is no way near SE phones which supports a million games and applications. For practical usage, LG is the best option. Great battery backup with a pretty decent music player and a superb camera that even beats 6233. My LG GM200 with my Sony MDR-ED12LP earphones beats you Nokia 5130 with even Philips SHH9700 expensive earphones. It is that much of a competition. Check out the pics in GM200 forum if you want to.

For a 2 mega pixel camera it really does take nice and clear photos, even nicer indoor photos than my Nokia 5800 with 3.2 Megapixel. I love the phone. It's fabulous.

Not to mention, the image quality of GM200 beats even 6233 in terms of sharpness, detailing and with very less amount of noise even in low light conditions. Even 3120c with LED flash is no match for my GM200. If you want proof, just check out GM200 forum. I have uploaded some sample pics there.

Yesterday managed to get 3 hours of video and a bit of image viewing, 2 hours of java gaming and 7hrs of continuous music playback on a single charge. Can you believe that? I would trade a bit of music quality for a lot of battery back up.. would you not???

I bought 5130c-2 one month back. Battery back is poor. Talking hours just 2hrs only. I replaced battery with Nokia care. Now little bit improvement there. I will fight till i get as in specification(6 hrs). All 5130 buyers plz report ur complaints at Nokia care. Then only v get solution.
