Harjeet, 07 Sep 2009I just wanna buy Nokia 5130 Xpress Music in next 2-3 days b... morei am using it about 3 months but dont face any serious problem.but sometimes my USB does not work properly.can u solve this problem

I'm gonna buy this fone 2morow but I just wanna know if battery is good an is camera good??? I'm in south africa and it cost R1200(south african Rands)....Also how good is music quality????

It does support mp4 videos. I use mp4 format only.
I even have full length movies in it which are bigger than 300Mb in size.
But, the one thing bad abt this phn is the supplied headset...it sucks. its a disgrace to the wonderful sound quality produced by this phn. I suggest you to buy a good quality headphn like EP-630, SHH9700 or any other good headphn.

you will get 2-2.5 days backup with moderate use and 1.5 days with heavy use. But yes you can also drain it in couple of hours if you want.
like record video: 1 hr
play games: 5hrs
play video: 4hrs
music through loudspeaker: 7hrs
music through headset: 17hrs
simply browsing through mobile, reading sms etc: 5hrs
The main problem is ppl dont consider the last option, they do not consider it as a heavy duty work and play with their mobile browsing through it reading and sending sms and cry about low battery backup.
So here is something that may come as a surprise to most users.
->1hr of chating through sms with use more battery than 1 hr of attending call.

I just wanna buy Nokia 5130 Xpress Music in next 2-3 days but as I saw comments on this phone like its poor Battery backup & hands free sound quality is not good. So i'm in doubt about to buy this phone. Can anyone suggest me that this phone is better at all or not???

Fantastic Mobile. Battery work 2 to 3 day if not use music etc. Camera is Good but night mode function not in camera. In Mobile Phone Memory 30 MB. Also include Phone Backup Software in Mobile.

Battery quality is low. Music is okay but earphone volume is not as expected. Sometimes once the data transfer via bluetooth is done, phones gets hanged. It even takes much time to be switched off. Apart from these, its good and worth for amount(5.5k)...
