I think I will go for this phone after reading the reviews. I was debating whether to go for 7210 supernova but it has been rubbished all over, i can do with more weight upgrading from 2630. Also considered Samsung but its browser are suspect.

Nice phone.Excellent sound quality.but the battery is low quality.

Hey....the charger and the USB cable are too small..and the battery back up is also not as good as expected with nokia. And the ear volume when music played is ok but not upto the expectations.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2009im using 5130 atm, i can use the net, YM, but i cant use my... morejust visit www.operamini.com/help and check the FAQs.there is a question regarding 'how to setup APN?.Read that and ur problem is solved.in ur fone take configuration settings and select personal configuration settings.then select options and then select add new.you will get 6 items to select starting with 1)web 2)multimetia etc.just select the last one that is 'access point'.then select account name and give ur network providers name and activate.my problem was solved by this method.

hmm well, i didn't buy a phone yesterday.
I just did window shopping... uhm about what you said. 5630 and 5530, I saw their designs up close and handled the models and well, I kinda liked 5630 and 5730...
uhm what can you say about this two phones? 5730 is worth 4000php more. Is it worth it to add that amount or perhaps I should stick with 5630?

im using 5130 atm, i can use the net, YM, but i cant use my BROWSER w/c is Opera Mini.. why is that?
it says "FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET" but i can go YM, MMS and can even do Facebook...

It was a wonderful Mobile it satisfying my Music Needs i'm using that Mobile rom Last 1 months, all thing is good But Music Heands free is not the standard o music xpeess Set.

Actually i've had 5320 and i dont have any problems with my phone in its function,, but i just feel bored,, so i think its good if i buy another phone and still retain my 5320 and i see this phone...
I just have some disappointments bout 5130 features:
^no active standby, ugh
^i had read some comments in this forum sayin that its battery backup is bad, i hope not
^nokia says that it just work well through max 2gb msd
can u tell me what good features that i cant get in my 5320 or what new experience that i can feel in 5130? Do u have any recommend bout good phone in this price range?
Actually i want to feel different experience in a new music phone... But i still love my 5320 at all,,

well Im a music lover and... moreIn terms of audio quality both are excellent.
Frequency response and distortion levels of 5130 is better than 5630 and the other features are dynamic range and stereo crosstalk of 5630 is better than 5130.
BTW 5130's audio has improved a bit...probably dynamic range and stereo crosstalk has been improved with latest firmware update(some ppl claim 6.93 has better sound than 6.65)
But the important point to be noted is that 5630 is an S60 smartphone and 5130 is an S40 java phone.
In terms of audio quality both same but in terms of functionality 5630 is well ahead.
I would suggest you to go for 5630 or 5530 as you have the budget for those.

And price is not much higher arrround .5k

Sorry Guys! i have to say this "my fart sounds better than dis fone" this fone is very desappointing.Every thing is poor abt dis fone including battery, video playback,camera and abt sound i have told u before.
