i bought 5220 2 dayz back ..
so guyz if u r confused in 6233 or 5220 .. thn go for 5220 .. awsome battery backup !
am also using it as a modem .. its givin me good speed..
yea u can switch off the music lights .. GO to settings .. Lights .. thn Music lights on/off.
am loving this celfone !

though I admit, I've only seen this phone being used by someone
I havent been able to use nor even touch this very fancy and seemingly great device
but I would like to reply on the querry about 6233 and this
6233 for the record has:
powerful speakers (most powerful speakers in a phone) dont know how 5220 fares against it but its much more powerful and clearer than the stereo speakers of n73 and even the n95
VGA video recording...12 times the number of pixels and 8 times the size of video recording compared to the QCIF video that the 5220 can record in
very powerful battery and very long battery life...
I am in no way dissing 5220, and I am in no position to say so....but as a fan and a user of 6233, I would like to point out the stuffs that 6233 may have/have over the 5220
sorry for my intrusion, just got curious about this lovely device...and I just stumbled upon the querry about 6233 hehee

thanx..guys for ur valuable reply...but reading all this i hv bcome more confused...i hv heard lot about fast internet service, audio output without headphones n strong battery dat n 6233mi provides..in this comparison...how does n 5220 music xpress stand..n only negative point i feel wid n 6233 mi is its bet heavi n bulky...where n 5220 weighs only 72 gm...so plz tell me 5220's music performance on speakers....thanx..

do me a favor...go for the Nokia 6233 Music Edition! It not only has TWO amazing speakers, they are so damn good, that you can listen to them, without headphones....and be amazed by the clarity and bass levels.....The greatest fone to listen to music....IMO, can easily givesome of the nseries sets a run for their money!

This is very much avbl in India. As on 23 Aug 2008 On EBay you may end up paying 8676.72 incl VAT. But this price will come down and will stablize in the tune of 7.5k in coming two months.
One GREAT feature is a mention-must for Indian users. That is HINDI TEXT INPUT support! No other phone of this category of Nokia or any other company gives that feature today. My meaning is with bigger screen of 240 x 320 pix resolution & all the smart goodies like music, push email etc this is one of the most awaited development by th eIndian consumers. So I read everywhere this phone only supports up to 2GB cards? Is this true?
In the forums I was told up to 8GB. I was hoping at least 4GB, but 2 is much to small and I won't be buying it if that is the case.
If someone could please confirm what it really is that would be great, thanks!
