1st unlock ur phone by sidekey then slide ur finger towards left 2 right direction on just the screen where stop icon displays to stop the alarm.

Honestly i am devastated by the products Nokia is producing today. I have a 5230 and it was working fine until about 10 mins ago. I have had this phone for a year now and its no longer responding. The touchscreen just stopped responding and the hardware keys have also stopped working. I am so disappointed. I was planning to purchase the C5-03 but i don't think i will be buying that phone again.My friend has a Samsung S3650 Corby for a year now and its touchscreen still works perfectly.What the hell is going on Nokia!!!??? I have been a fan since i was 13, I am now 21 and their mobile phones have never failed me. My trust in Nokia is not as strong as it use to be.

i use my phone as my alarm, but find it very annoying that i cant just touch one button to shut it off, it only alows my to hit snooze, is there a quick way to shut the alarm off?

i love my phone but i am having a problem texting international, i call call these number just fine but for some reason it wont send my text! is it my carrier or the phone?

hello, I've a problem with my 5230,
every time I make a call, I can't hear anything from the handset's speaker, but the person whom I talking to can hear sound from me.
But if I activated the loudspeaker then I can hear any sound clearly.
my question is, is my handset's speaker broke? or maybe firmware update can fix this?

and delete all the messages
then put the sim back to your phone

This phones is excellent..
and now when i say excellent..it may vary from person to person.. i bought this phone 4 months back at a price of 7k..and its really worth paying
we got big screen
processor used in many high end phone.. tho it is quite a small one :D ..
internet works awsome..
sound quality is not upto mark..but if u buy a neat piece of headset.. sound is as good as any xpress music..
camera is awsome.. considering for paying only 7k and getting all these stuffs is wroooom .. i had compared 2mp camera's pic quality..and quality from this phones was awsome..all of my frnd felt same..
it has A gps..
qwerty keypad.. not onboard :P
i mean.. if u really want something more good..u can pay additional money and can buy other phone.. but if u want a phone in mid range with almost all qualities.. this is bingo for u..
