whenever i get a new sms, screen does not lit up + i dont get the notification '1 new message' and the message symbol that usually comes near the battery indicator also does not come... please help me rectify the problem..... the phone is great and working perfectly..one of the best phones!!

i m facing some problems with my nokis 5230 - phone gets restarded on its own sometimes, screen does not lits up when sms arrives etc. Should i reinstall its firmward using nokia software updater is it good. I also formatted thr 4ne by pressing call,end,camera and power key but this also didnt help , sms problem didnt solve.
