Its a good mobile for internet user's only. But music quality n external speaker sound very very bad.

Hi, i want to know about the fonts in my NOKIA5230. I need Tamil font to send messages in Tamil. I installed a software called Panini keypad which is useful to send and receive messages in multilingual. After installed it, i can send or receive tamil messages. But i could not able to read. So, please tell me some useful tips to overcome this problem.

nokia 5230 is a smartphone for those who don't have or want to spent 20k on an android or for iphone.It has good video recording(30fps),music playback and a great screen.Though touchscreen keypad has a long way to go i think you will get used to it.Camera is not goog in low light conditions but under good sunlight it is a descent camera.UI is not so bad if you are familiar with nokia.

1) browser automatically exits when used consistently for just few minutes
Built in browser doesn't work so well, esp.with images and flash enabled, I recommend you try opera mini, go to m.opera.com.
2) email in application does not respond sometimes, unable to delete mails sometimes and so on
Yeah it desn't work so well, I can't even setup my yahoo account! When I try to enter yahoo mail account, it just sends me back to login.
3) though i have not stored anything in phone memory, available phone memory is only 20 mb
Maybe you have not stored anything, but the phone comes with a lot of stuff already on it, I got a Rihanna Rated R album exclusive edition, and some other things (a video). Just use file manager to see all folders and remove what you don't need. Also clean up the cache in the default web browser. If that doesn't work, you may need a hard reset.

My nokia 5230 came with all applications that you listed with 5233, except document viewer. There is no document viewer, only a notepad to make quick notes, but it can also read txt files from the file manager i believe.

i think some guys want to tarnish image of 5230 im using it i used b4 5800 i missed only wifi everything is gr8 ,,there is sound problem at all i downloaded power mp3 for music its as same as 5800 ,,cam is good as video too if you need more output in speaker u should take china made phones ,,,,,,,,,there are 100s are phone available for different catogries buy which suits u r needs then thr will not be problem,

hey guys.. this is a superb phone.. i'm gonna buy it next week.. now i'm using N70.. 5230 is a good looking touch screen phone.. and the price is very affordable.. i know there is some problem with it's sound quality.. yet it doesn't matter.. B'Coz i use alwaz a headset when listen to music..
