This mobile processor is very slow and Bought new phone recently in Global access bangalore, within 20 days display has some problem, showing two lines .
I would not recommend this mobile

I was bye thise phone in sept 2009 but thise phone working good i dont have problem or tenstion to repair it .
I like thise phone very much hope u like it..

I'm using this phone from past 2 months... this is the best phone for the lowest price i have seen.
Features+
Lifetime GPS
OVI maps just rocks. I use it in bangalore and i'm never lost in the city. Download the voice instructions. Put the headset. Set your desired destination and it will guide you through the every turn. This feature is just awesome.
Phone operating speed is really fast. Just amazing. The touch screen is amazing and has the full screen QWERTY keyboard.
The OVI store has plenty of applications and games for your phone.
Doesnt have that good speaker, but I use DELL BH200 bluetooth headset and the sound quality is amazing.
Camera resolution is good. Video recording has amazing quality and the videos recorded luk like they have been recorded with the good digicam.
Overall i will rate this phone
9/10.

It seems 5230 has sim card slot at ... moreHey dude,u cant remove the sim card without removing the battery.Nokia designed it in the way that u can insert an sim without removing battery,but when u want to remove sim u should remove the battery first,then u will see a small slot on the board.U hav to push the sim through that slot using stylus or any other.

i am 2 sim cards user.. It seems 5230 has sim card slot at the side.. Lately i am quite annoyed of carrying 2 phones in my pocket..just want to know, if i am going to activate 2nd sim,do i have to shut down, remove the battery and replace the 2nd sim, then put the battery on, and switch on again to actv8 the 2nd sim?.. Or i just easily interchange the sims without switching off the phone or remove the battery cover?

Does/has anyone had a bad experience with the Nokia 5230 regarding screen freezing/screen trouble?
I have literally JUST placed an order for my upgrade and now i hear that the screens give trouble.
PLEASE HELP I CAN STILL CANCEL IN 7 DAYS!!!!

I have been using this phone for some time i like the phone very much the only prob it has is it switches off automatically and switches on while using some app like the internet etc ,
