You will lose all the files and contacts that are saved to phone memory if you do that though... So only do this at your own risk and it would be better to take it back to the shop where you bought it. Anyway the code is (apparently) *#7780# Type this into the telephone area thing.

Hi..
Bought cell two days ago... seen some discripancies.
1]Very lengthy procedure for saving any data in memory card.
2]Very complecated to understand menu.
Suggestion: Produce those phones that everyone can handle easily.

If this phone has good imaging camera i would stick 2 it for a while. Maybe x6 all black is good replacement with 5mp cam and 128mb ram, cus 70m ram is unstable

[deleted post]if they'd put a Wi-Fi to 5230, the 5800 would gather dust on store shelves.
anyway, C6 is much better than 5800, and a good upgrade from 5230 if ever we, 5230 users, would like to think of an upgrade.

Deepthi, 30 Jul 2010i m not satisfied with this mobile as because headset soun... moreplug in the headphones from your computer and listen to the audio quality....i think you hav not read the review as yet...this is the phone with the best audio output!!

Can you... moreI purchased the Nokia 5230 outright about a week ago for $199. On telstra prepaid credit it cost me $32 to use the nokia or OVI browser for less than 10 minutes. Since then it has sent blank messages to multiple people from my phonebook all at the same time and made phone calls to foreign phone numbers all whilst being in my pocket.
This phone is the devil!
