vish, 29 Jul 2010can some body tell me the overall view regarding 5230.is it... moreits a fantastic phone i have been using it for 8 months now...the video capture is very good@30fps ,agps,3g....but the ear phones which comes with this are not good need to buy a new one..

i have bought nokia 5230 just a couple of weeks ago...
well its a nice phone but with a big drawback that is it doesnt have WIFI :(
otherwise its a great phone to be owned
but the headphones which we get in the box piece of 5230 are absolute crap ..need to buy a different headset for the better sound orelse its hell low sound from those headphones
picture clarity is nice n videos play in fullscreen
overall my rating 7.5/10
definately worth its price i bought it for 7900/ in hyderabad

Ok b4 i have two N70 made in china and made in korea. The n70 from KOREA has bad camera just like 5230 camera now. I quess its d same camera they used on N70 before.

What r u sayin that image quality it good! Im an n82 user and 5230 pinkish camera is equal to my secondary camera and dont buy made in KOREA bc they have bad faulty cameras

Its not excellent but yeah, can say its good.
Pic quality no doubt is too good.
Sound is lil bit low because its not having dual speaker unlike its higher range models.
Please check software version after u purchase and can upgrade it very easily.
I have purchased 5230 and mah frnd purchased 5235 ..
no doubt both are grt only difference is u will get data cable along with 5230 and 3G is not thr.
Value for money .. buy and enjoy good pics, movies in a broad screen
