I've upgraded my phone to firmware v.51 & after having installed all the relevant updates, my phone is working really good. Kindly install new updates to make your phone work well. Ultimately, It's your choice whether you want to upgrade or not.

good mobile in this range...good screen..fast browsing speed in 2g network than any other mobile..camera is very good...

Using this phone since last 2.5 yrs..no problems whatsoever..plus points are music quality (on good headfones) & gps (not A gps)u can find your way even if you do not have any network connection.
keeping in mind the current market conditions, this would be the my last nokia fone.

amit, 02 Sep 2012I dont know why no Mp4 video is playing on my 5230 3G versi... moreDude just dip your phone into boiled water and freshen it up. No need of wiping the phone before checking. If it works after dipping then would be great or else need to be dip it again.
