ryu, 21 May 2010got this last week,5233,bang for every buck.the price reall... more3g is important for free internet via globe, smart or sun. In fact it is 3.5g here in the phils.

got this last week,5233,bang for every buck.the price really compensates for the lack of some features like 3g and wifi.i dont frickin need those anyways..peace.^^

bought 5230 almost 2 months bak
wz having an xcellent xperience wid it
but jus recently a strange prob hz started
its lcd
i mean wen i unlock
there iz no display
instead ablurred image aperas
kinda all closely spaced horizontal lines
n dey r of de same color as de image
like if i had wallpaper haf white n haf blak colored
these horizonyal lines wud be jus of de same colr patterns
but no proper image
n phone abruptly startsdoin dis
nxt moment its f9..
plz can ny1 tel wat to do:(:(

Neth, 20 May 2010ANyone.. Kindly help me is this a good phone? I really like... moreI have has this phone for 2 days and it has blown me away just how good it is. A feature which has been overlooked by many is just how good the video recording is and that it will record up 90 minutes in one go, in Europe devices are normally limited 30 minutes.
As a former Palm Pilot/Psion 5 user this has everything we ever wanted AND so cheap. The only problem I had (my fault) was with Ovi suite which I had to re-install.
If you get stuck with anything though don't bother with Nokia support they are completely useless, check the forums, the answers are out there.

Nokia 5230 v20 sucks. New bugs found. Level 1 touch vibration feels like level 3 touch vibration. Sometimes auto rotate screen doesn't work and for music player, if pausing the music for about one day, and if resume playing the music again, the music will not be able to play again.

mike, 21 May 2010i want to buy this phone soon... coz i think that its so co... morenokia 5233 is only 6450. that is cheap enough. i think that GPRS is good enough for internet on the 5233. so if you dn't plan to watch youtube videos much then nokia 5233 is good already.

I m enjoying my 5233 but still i have some questions plz help ....
1- i tried to download many applications to disable camera sound but when i tried to install them it show a msg "certificate error "while i have installed many other applications from mobile9.com successfully thats why i request u to help me and plz tell me the application (to disable camera sound ) name and address (if possible) and how can i install it ?
2- my second problm is that when i tried to play some videos from any special site , they show a msg that 'ur phone needs newer version of adobe flash player ' and when i tried to install it , site again shows a msg ' not compatible with ur operating system ,, can u tell me about it ?
3- when i used some screensavers as wallpaper , this phone just set my screensaver as image and didn't play them as almost all phones does and 2nd thing is that there is no setting available in phone to set screensavers
4- i saw many flash for 5233 on net and download them but i don't know the use of them , they look like screensavers but i can't use them as wallpaper . What is the use of them ?
