Well by default there is no option to turn off the camera sound. But there are applications available that can do so.
Yes you can install sis as well as sisx apps. To be more specific, it supports most s60v3 and v5 apps. It can also install .wgz or widgets.
Camera menu is in menu->applications. It can be rearranged any way you want. And also pressing the camera button automatically switches on the camera.

1- can i take photo without shutter sound in silent mode ( i know its impossible 2 take photos without camera sound in general profile )
2- does nokia 5233 supports sis. files ?
3- where is the camera menu ? , i don't find camera option in main menu .

@marieta yeah the audio is very low even you increase volume to maximum. 5310 xpress music is better option for music lovers

Hi friends, this is a wonderful phone. I want to know about some issues. Date and time is always reset whenever I remove the battery for a while. Everytime I have to correct the time and date. Any help?
Moreover, I want some applications to be installed on my phone, like some call-blocker or sms-blocker application. Can any one tell me from where to download it and how to install it? Do I need a zip-manager also?

and raj, let me remind you that nokia 5233 is not A-GPS enabled. meaning you need to use GPRS/EDGE connection to use your GPS. so for this, NOKIA 5230 is better.
and about the internet, i think 5230 is still better since it is 3G-enabled. and consequently, it has HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) with a maximum speed of 3.6 MBPS. so for this matter, NOKIA 5230 is still better.

Really need help 4 info from ur guys. I plan to take DiGi Smartplan - Unlimited Internet.
(Service provider in my country - Malaysia).
After lot of consideration, I want to buy this phone bcoz it's very economic & got lot of stuff.
Here, I just want to know :
i ) can we open multiple tab while surfing? (like IE & Mozilla web browser)
ii ) how bout surfing experience?
iii ) is it web browser is easy to use@surfing?
