You don't have to pay for GPS if u have an unlimited data plan...although 5230 has A-GPS which can directly contact satellites...but still it does require an internet connect but the usage is very minimal/less...but the one used in 5233 is a network based and totally depends on your net connectivity and also it makes heavy usage of internet connection..so its better if u have a Unlimited Data Plan..

[deleted post]Both are same but, 5230 boasts of 3.5G connectivity at the expense of 1000 bucks (approx) more. If you dont need 3G go for 5233.

hi i want to all the available feauters in 5230 actually hw much memory i can insert in it just i want to add movies in my memory hw is it be done.while i am touching the screen for each operation it's getting vibrating just i want to remove that one is it possible

mr. virtual, 14 May 2010gps is not free of charge u have to pay for n internet conn... morethe A-GPS is totally free, but do make sure its the new version.. i been using the navigator now about 3 month after upgrading, never been charge :) but hey, make sure satelite can find ur place in this world...

Or you can get a special data cable which has two wires coming out from the usb. One is used to connect to the phone while the other is a charging pin which can be plugged in to charge the phone at the same time.

Just make sure to stick thin screen guard instead of the thicker one. This greatly improves touch response. The screen guard that come with the device is good one but gets scratched easily. Good quality screen guards don't get scratched even if you scribble the screen with the stylus.

I am a frequent internet user and use the handset to connect to PC and use the set as modem. My current handset, Sony Ericsson Naite gets charged automatically through USB connection.
Is it possible to get the 5230 charged while being connected to internet using the handset as a modem through USB charging or using the default charger?

The sennheiser cx300ii are definitely out of league as it costs around 2.5k. I advice you not to go for sony iem's as the only thing they seem to have is bass n nothing else. For 1.5k philips shh9700 is a good iem with balanced sound and extended bass. I'd say better sounding than creative but just trailng behind the senni cx300. For the price of the cx300 or less, you can go for the philips she9800. It's one of the best sounding earphones i've owned till date. It's a hybrid design like the sony ex85sl but the audio quality is astounding. It's premium quality with pretty balanced sound accross the frequency range. Bass is clear and powerful. High are better and clearer than the shh9700. The other notable thing is it's superb sound stage which gives you a feeling that you are listening to a full sized headphone. It gives you that surround effect which goes great with this phone.
