Burhan, 07 May 2010Is it possible I can see excel & PDF file on it? Yes ofcourse you can. But you need 3rd party apps like quick office to do so. The 3.2in display becomes particularly useful when viewing pdf files. I use adobe reader lite edition to view pdf files. You can download it frm mobile9.com.

raw, 07 May 2010my destination is 5233 but u r the man who give me right su... moreMy friend owns a 6303c. i have played around with it for some time including the music player and camera.
Honestly my experience with it was kind of disappointing. For a 3.2mp cam with an led flash, it's kind of disappointing as photos taken in low light turn out to be quite noisy even with flash turned on. The 3.2mp camera feels like a 1.3mp camera. And the browser is nothing special. Just the ordinary s40 browser without flash video support. It can only stream videos from youtube mobile site and is no way comparable to the symbian browser.
But the built quality is nice with a stainless steel cover and good solid feel. The audio quality is also average and can't even match up with the 5130. The camera has autofocus but no dedicated shutter keys. So you have to kind of double click the center button to first focus and then capture the photo.

Apple said that iphone os 4 supports multitasking for iphone 3gs only. You spend 26000 rupees for a phone without multitasking which is biggest joke.

Just thank nokia for providing us with this phone so that us middle class folks can also get a taste of a good quality touch smart phone. That is kind of the thing that makes this phone special. Smart phone with smart features for the masses... Way to go nokia....

The supported formats out of the box are 3gp, mp4, mpeg4 avc, real video and wmv. Using smart movie player, you can even play full size avi files. And you do not need a third part app for playing youtube videoz though there is a free youtube app available for download which could make your job a bit easier.

Raw listen up m8...its capable of recording videos in both 3GP N MP4 FORMAT...its not capable of playin xvid/divx or avi files but wid d help of smart movie u can play dem...it can directly play videos from youtube just like it would be played in ur computer BROWSER...so u dont require 3rd party apps...except 4 playing avi .flv files....u can go 4 it...

Listen up mate sorry 4 dat decent language i used...now u r turning me on....u r gonna keep this stupid fone for 3years...what a joke...even today it seems outdated....well i change my phones within a year...now d latest one i m having is d iphone 3G N I MUST TELL YOu its way better dan dis one is...its having a digital compass..,graphix processr...plus a big 3.5in highly responsive capicitive screen...plus a gr8 sound output...all that 4 just Rs 26800/-...isnt dat gr8 just look at d UI...ITS GREAT!!!

for me this is best smart phone i ever use... Low price, big screen, responsive touchscreen, great battery life,but my only dislike is the speaker audio output its too low.

[deleted post]I never lost my way using A-Gps. I used both google and nokia map. I get satellite signal quickly and navigate easily. Speaking about 3g, when the private operators enter, the cost will decrease significantly. I brought this phone to keep it for 2 to 3 years. If you didn't like this phone, move away. Why are you crying in this forum.

How come you say that corby's display is better. Corby only has a qvga display but 5230 has 3.2inch wvga display. That's almost double the screen resolution. The fact that corby's display is capacitive doesn't make it a better display. I have hands on experience with the capacitive display of samsung s8300 ultratouch and to my surprise, though it looks better as it is an amoled, the touch screen did'nt impress me much. I felt that it kind of had the same feel as nokia's resistive touch screen. It supports 400x240 pixel resolution. Something better than the corby. The problem with corby is that the display is too small to emphasize the sensitivity and responsiveness of the capacitive touch. It also lacks the accuracy of resistive touch screens. Capacitive is undoubtedly superior to resistive touchscreens but in corby's case i'll have to make an exception the only reason being the smaller qvga display.

Infact there are three way by which you can stream youtube videos.
Using the default browser or Opera mobile, entering the address www.youtube.com takes you directly to the youtube mobile site which can also be accessed by any non smart phone or feature phone supporting media streaming. the video links are opened in realplayer which automatically does the streaming for you.
At the bottom of the page, there is a link for accessing the full desktop version of youtube. The default browser can access the site directly and here the videos can be accessed from the youtube page itself just like that from a computer. It supports full screen viewing also. Here you can also wait till the video loads completely inorder to avoid those annoying interruptions while loading.
Then there is the final way using a dedicated youtube application. It can be downloaded from m.google.com and you can find the S60v5 for free. I find it better than the other two ways. You don't need to load up the whole page and is a bit easy on the phone's resources.
