its sound on loudspeaker is low,but if you pair it with good headset like philips or sennheiser,the sound is very good.

listen up ppl.
for those thinking of buying this phone, plz do.
its symbain based (u can install loads of wonderful applications n full touch screen games, etc)
the sound i admit is on the lower syd but buy any other earphone than nokia n u get almost double the volm. fr 7000bucks its a sweet deal.
cam quality is good in lighted aread, even video in lighted condtn is damn good. u also have assisted gps (i use google maps software on myn n nw whn i go places m not lost or cheated by taxis ;) )
battery backup entirely depends upon hw much u use what. it does not have free adobe reader or office bt u can either buy it or... ;)
fr those who say volm is low, use sofwares to boost volm bfr putting it in the phone.
i'd say go for it, u wont b disappointed

Can anyone tell me whether the Nokia 5230 has call recording facility? Means recording of conversation while talking over the phone.

this phone is good in its price range but the body quality of the is not good at all.also the screen catch scratches very quickly

vqree, 30 Apr 2010hi guys... is this phone really support for 16gb micro sd? ... morehave been using a 16gb card in it for over three months now. works great, though i think it puts an extra strain on the battery.
