Ok guys . i hve been using nokia 5230 for about 1 week. and to tell u the truth , this is the 2nd mobile phone which really came up to my expectations. 1st was nokia 6303 nd now this. nokia 5230 is a great phone . its features r same as 5800 except wifi nd led flash.
camera quality is amazing . really i compared both 5230 nd 5800 nd 5230 pics were more bright nd detailed.
battery timing is absolutely fantastic . i here a lot of music nd surf net still this phone can easily live up to 1.5 to 2 days.
no hanging or restart .
So my final words r tht if u want a touch screen mobile go for 5230 instead of 5800. u won't regret . believe me.

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2010i can't believe that nokia can make a big mistake like this... moreI think if you use a 3rd party file browser you will be able to locate and replace the file that is the sound it plays when taking a picture. Replace the file with one that is short and silent.

hi i bought it for 8350Rs. Gud mob and worth. Camera is gud comparing to other models. display s awesome.. trust me for this price its a coooolll mobile :-)

You need to just login in to your contries nokia website n then dowload the map in your computer and then transfer it to your phone with the help of a Data cable or bluetooth dongle.

no wifi on the Nokia 5230...I would get it only if it had wifi....
