camera s quite gud n comparison to other models
bt i lacks n gud sound quality and speakers a bit.....
rest u can go 4 it

However, the screen seems a little better than 5800 not sure why? It is a very good handset, especially the price, it does not come with a stylus or provision in the back cover to store like 5800, but the rear covers are not coated in the anti slip stuff. They give you a choice of two covers too, nice one nokia! The internal memory is less too, overall this is a mega bargain, gave it to the wife to use as she drops all her phones and this one looks solid.

guys im planing to take this mobile 2day but do u guys advice me that this phone is worth. As i servey corby has most sales so its been common with many ppl so i rejected corby from my mobile list. Now i only left with V1750 and NOKIA 5230,5233.
and my budget is rs.9000 or can come upto rs 10000.

Breaking news for all nokia 5230 users. Nokia updated firmware. The new firmware 20.005 is available now. I checked and verified before posting. Update your firmware to enhance phone's performance.

this is great mobile but its having a problem when memory goes full upto 8GB, then its performance gets slow.dont go with this mobile,bcoz im going to change my handset. aal the best guys.

Most of the budget touchscreen phones from Samsung, LG have a resolution of 240*400 or 240*320 and they are not smartphones either. But the Nokia 5230 is having a display of 360*640 and runs Symbian 60 5th edition. It is basically same as 5800 without GPS, Wifi and 3G. It is worth getting considering the money you pay for it.
