SR, 12 Mar 2010How to not lose mobile phones? Do you know anything about it.Hahahahaha! lol well i cant give u right answer becouse there is no answer! but that never ever happend to me! i guess i take good care of my phones! u should try to do same thing! just always have your phone in your mind!

Regarding why 5230 doesn't charge off USB here's a somewhat satisfactory answer from Nokia Support Discussions :
"it is because of the extra electronics and software required to detect whether the phone is connected to its dedicated charger or to a computer's USB port. If the former, it will draw more power than if the latter".
Probably makes sense in a low cost handset.
Solution (from the same forum).

With this connected to the charging port (not the micro USB port) you can charge Nuron from USB though you will not be able to transfer file and use USB feature. Both are compatible with Nuron (5230).
5530 XM is smaller than 5800 XM in size. It uses BL-4U
battery model whereas 5800 Xm uses BL-5J. I'm not sure if you can use one in place of another. But if you want to exted the battery life you can use an external battery like : http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/accessories/all-accessories/power/chargers/nokia-extra-power-dc-11

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970what u wrote in samsung star forum is not appreciable at all. at least for humanity's sake be polite. even i have used samsung star for a year and now i moved onto nokia 5233 but dats no reason to go and insult another phone in such crude language. even star is a great phone.
