farhan & surya singh. thanx. cos after reading ur reviews i decided to buy 5230. After a long search i got 5230 mobile in nokia priority at shimpoli road, borivali west. their phn no is 02228333489. i know many people wants to buy it. my first impression is i m impressed. but i cant comment much as this is my first touchscreen mb so i dont know how good other mobiles are. i hav few questions for u.
1. which is the reasonable headset to use with this having both music listening & call handling capacity. 2. which datacable i should take as they dont provide it with box. pls tell cost of both datacable & headset. 3. i want live call recording facility. what should be done. 4. i am using reliance gsm. is it good for internet use and how can i use gps & 3G with it. 5. on 2nd day of purchase in night i was listening to music. my battery was full when i stop the music. but in the morning when i saw total battery was empty. is it battery problem or my music was not totally off? pls explain. thnx in advance.

can i change the song from pressing the button from earphone in NOKIA 5230????
and can anyone suggest me any good quality earphone for 5230, in which i can also change song remotely.....i don't need bluetooth earphone, but a good quality earphone within RS. 500-600

skynet, 08 Mar 2010no it does not ask anything just says cannot connect. and ... moreUgh...sorry but i cant help! i dont know why that happends to you! do u use gprs or wap settings!? u must use gprs settings! and try to set them as priority no.1 in settings! i have wap and gprs settings,and i must use gprs for apps like opera! when i type page i wanna open it asks me wich settings to use to go online becouse i have two!

ok im planning to buy this soon. but please give me ur views on the following...
1.I dont use 3G, WLAN, WIFI.
2.I dont use camera, video cam or watch videos on my phone.
3.I dont use or need GPS at all.
4.I dont play games on the phone.
5.I dont multi-task (generally).
6.But i will listen to music for, say, 2 hours a day.
7.I will use themes, but not change them frequently.
8.I send about 100 sms per day.
How long will a single full charge last??
please dont quote 1320 mah battery n all those tech stuff quoted in websites. i want practical answers from people who actually use this phone.

Saravanan, 08 Mar 2010I have purchased 5233 it two days back and felt very bad ab... moreListen i said this maybe 10 times...u cant judge this or any other phone sound volume and quality by using earphones that come in the box with phone!!! that should be clear to u and anyone or everyone here! this should be cheap phone and nokia is giving cheap bad quality earphones with the phone! to be honest i didnt even get mine out of the box! i never used them even once! gsmarena is not lieng to u or anyone else! they test sound quality on computer with program!u wanna enjoy music? u MUST buy new earp!!

I have purchased 5233 it two days back and felt very bad about the music player, earphones they provided and the sounds quality very poor. i purchased it after had a clear review about this mobile from this site, But what they mentioned here is not at all true. its very poor quality sound i experienced the past two days. it is waste to put 8k Rs if you expect some decent sound.
