Hi Any one can answer my question?
when I remove the battery cover of 5230 battery is slipping automatically is any one facing this problem? Is it a manufacturing defect or normal one?
How's your battery life?
Please answer I purchased this from Nokia Pririty dealer I will ask them to replace if it's a manufacturing defect.

1. First of all install a Nokia Ovi maps 3.0 from nokia site & intall in your mobile.
2. then install india map from Nokia Map loader, which you get from nokia site.
3. then go to Map option in my position. Intitially it will take 10-15 mins to receive GPS signal.
4. now you are done, enjoy the GPS without any internet connection.

i bought 5233 nokia yesterday for 7400 at poorvika, touchscreen is simply best, it is worth for that amount,can any one tell me the instruction how to use GPS i am in chennai.......

Hi Farhan,
Can you help me out from the following
I bought N5230 one month back and so far I have not installed any software in my phone and even Memory card.
1. How to use the GPS and should I download OVI Maps from the Nokia Website and install it otherwise will it be downloaded by Nokia priority dealers.
2. Whenever I start the GPS application my phone shows me MEMORY IS NOT ENOUGH TO START THE APPLICATION.
3.Should I activate the GPRS for GPS.

Can you please tell me about the speaker volume of this phone. I like loud phones. My first phone was 6233. Which everyone knows was very loud (volume-wise). Then I up-graded to Nokia 5610. Which is quite loud. Now I want to upgrade to Nokia 5230. Hows the volume through loudspeakers / ringtones etc when compared to 6233 and 5610. Please reply. Want to purchase it on or before 04-02-2010. Thanks in advance

Hi everybody . i bot tis on jan25th .. its good fone .. adv - good touch , good screen , good video quality , good UI ..
disadv .. headset given with the pack is not so great.. its simple one .. and also the pack includes no datacable and no memorycard..
i bot 2gb micro sd card from outside - sandisk 5yr warranty 280rs
Its NOT good for music else u buy a good headset
