@Neha: As its a 3G enabled quad band phone, it ll work in UK.
@5230 vs 5233: 5233 = 5230 - (3G & Navigation).

I am looking for actual reviews of this phone!! features vs price wise, it is amazing - i want to know abt actual experience of this phone. this is the ques to the ppl who are using Nokia 5230 - are there any issues that you have faced in this phone? at last, would you recommend this phone to me??
i guess I have kind of finalized this phone... thanks to its amazing features! another thing that i wana know is if i buy 5230 here in India, and if i leave for UK in 3 months time, will this phone work there??

I am planning to buy nokia 5235. It includes data cable in sales pakage and has inbuilt memory of 320MB & also has dedicated music keys.I believe that 3G & GPS included in the phone.Can any one confirm me about that?

I got my Nokia 5230 last December and I'm enjoying it.However,there are times it just blanks out especially after changing position.I usually correct this by removing the battery.Is my phone faulty?

URGENT- Is any one faced screen dispaly problems like 5800 (Especially when using old sim cards). And how's the speaker is it audible at least? I am planning to buy this.

Hey Bro,
Thanks a LOT for all that iNfO. It Definitely HELPED me Strike Out Samsung S5230 Off My List & my MIND. The Thing is I wasnt even thinking about Samsung or for that matter any other Brand except Nokia & finally I settled down for 5230 but when I went up to buy it, It just wasnt there on the SHELF & then they started recommending 5233 & Samsung S5230. It just got me even more confused. Yet I havent bought a phone will be calling them up tommorrow morning lets see if its there.
Just one more thing, HELP me wid Nokia 5230's Screen. Is it a usual Nokia kind off thing or some sought of Pasticcy kind of thing.

If you want to find out about what others think (or have thought) about it, search for "Samsung Star" on the forum search above because technically Samsung Star will only have mention here if compared with 5230, right!
Well, nonetheless there was a comparison made that I'm copying here. Read.
Comparison " between 5230 and Samsung Star
First lets see the positives of Star
- Dimension : looks more pocketable cause its shorter and thinner. Also little less heavier.
- Camera. It has 3.15 MPx camera against 5230's 2 MPx
- Comes with a document viewer. This is insignificant b'cause you can easily get a software for 5230.
Positives of 5230
- Screen is bigger and better. It is 3.2" against Star's 3". Also it is more pixel dense with more resolution than Star's. And not to mention it is 16:9 so full screen viewing is possible without black bars.
- 3.5 mm Audio Jack. Star doesn't has it. Its a major difference b'cause you can buy top of the line headsets (like Seinheisser or Bose etc.) from outside and use it directly.
- Little more internal memory. Its actually insignificant but it still is a difference.
- It has 3G. Star doesn't. Probably it is not that important b'cause 3G is not commonly used in India but atleast it will be ready once 3G race begins (in India).
- Lower resolution camera but better video recording resolution than Star.
- Symbian S60 Thus access to softwares that for me is a downright necessity in any phone. A non smart has to be checked for its features and what it "can do" before buying, but for a smart phone you just look at the hardware and buy it because the softwares can be downloaded easily. And its Symbian.
- It has GPS. So you can trace your journey, find direction. You can actually use your phone as a navigator with the built-in Nokia (Ovi) maps.
- Better battery.
- Another positive is that it support express-on battery covers. Not that important but still a nice additional advantage of owning 5230.
So unless camera is your only priority, go for 5230.
